Are these washable? Hand washing or washing machine?

I've had my aim for over a year and I haven't felt the need to wash them. That being said I would feel totally comfortable hand washing them but would never put them in the washing machine.

Do these shoes run a size smaller?

I wear a 7.5, sometimes an 8 in a narrower style of shoe, so I ordered both to see which fit me best. The 7.5 was too big, so they run 1/2 size large. I'll reorder and try a 7, which is a size I never wear in a shoe, but the 7.5 was not touching my heel at all. I really like the look, but they run at least 1/2 size large.

what material is the breathable woven upper made of?

I am not sure, looks like synthetic leather. Breathable material. I own 4 pairs

how high is heel area
