Works well most of the time
This is a good splitter for what you're paying. I've used it to split my Ps4 & Nintendo switch hdmi signals into a separate capture card. I've also used it to split a Hdmi signal from my PC into a capture card on a separate streaming rig. The only issues I've run into is if you are splitting a signal from an Nvidia Graphics card and one output supports audio but the other does not (for example, to a hdmi monitor with no speakers and a HDMI capture card) you will get no audio source in Windows and no audio output. You also need to make sure you power the splitter using a micro USB cable, especially for playstations or you won't get a signal. The socket for the micro USB cable is flimsy and a bit deep into the casing which makes it hard do plug in. Overall its a good solid splitter, good image, no noticeable delay or drop in quality.

Recommend!
I needed to extend my CCTV output to an additional screen in a different part of the house. This piece of kit along with a long cable done the job easily.

Not worth it
I was excited to try the befen HDMI Splitter 1 in 2 Out, HDMI Splitter 4K, especially after reading the positive reviews on Amazon Vine. However, my experience with this product was far from satisfactory. Right out of the box, I noticed that the build quality was subpar. The splitter felt lightweight and flimsy, and the plastic housing seemed prone to scratches and dents. This initial impression was unfortunately confirmed by the splitter's performance. I connected the splitter to my laptop and two monitors, eager to enjoy the promised 4K resolution and seamless mirroring. However, the image quality was inconsistent and often pixelated, even at lower resolutions. There were also frequent audio dropouts and disruptions, making it impossible to enjoy a smooth and uninterrupted viewing experience. I was hoping that the issue might be related to the provided HDMI cables, but even when using high-quality cables, the performance remained poor. I tried troubleshooting various settings and configurations, but nothing seemed to improve the splitter's responsiveness or image quality. Overall, the befen HDMI Splitter 1 in 2 Out, HDMI Splitter 4K fell far short of my expectations. Not only was the build quality subpar, but the performance was also disappointingly inconsistent and did not deliver the advertised 4K resolution or smooth mirroring experience. I would not recommend this splitter to anyone seeking a reliable and high-quality HDMI mirroring solution.

When it worked it was great
I’m only here, writing this review, because the splitter appears to have died after not very long at all. Was using it to hotswap a bunch of consoles (some with aftermarket hdmi adapters) into an old Panasonic TX40 viera and a cheap hdmi - usb capture device, to capture footage for an embryonic YouTube gaming channel. Couldn’t fault it’s splitting of hdmi to two outputs at all. Today, the lights started flashing, one... two... one... two... and no picture from the ps4pro. At first I thought the console had died, but after removing the splitter from the chain, everything is working. Console, cable, telly. The splitter has died. No great loss, it was cheap and my entire gaming setup needs an overhaul anyway. Just inconvenient for the time being.

Get TV in 2 other rooms
Enables me to get satellite output, recordings and streams in the kitchen, bedroom as well as the lounge. Use good quality HDMI leads, although these are less easy to thread round the house than the RF aerial lead I previously used. HDMI cables are not flexible and have prugs permanently connected, so you need 20x14 mm holes through any walls. I take power from Freesat USB port. One off payment instead of £££ monthly for Multiroom, but I have to go to the lounge to change channel. Note, not only do all TVs show the same channel, all TVs have to have the same format as the outputs are identical. e.g. if your main TV is 4K , I suspect you have to run it as HD if the others are not also 4K.

Virgin split on 2 TVs
We watch various TV channels via Virgin Media (VM), the VM cable enters the house via our lounge. Whilst renovating the kitchen and lounge, decided we also wanted to watch VM TV channels in our kitchen but didn't want to pay for an additional box from Virgin. This great little device solved the problem. We ran a new HDMI cable from the lounge to the kitchen and plugged into the kitchen TV. You then connect up both TV's HDMI cables and the VM TV box to this device. Device then splits the signal from the VM box to both TV's, both sound and picture quality is great (I presume the quality of the HDMI cable will also aid in this). One point to note, this splits the signal, therefore you need to watch the same TV channel on both TV's. If you want to watch separate TV shows, you will need a different solution. This device is also very compact which was a welcome bonus but does require it's own power source (supplied in the box). Whilst we use Virgin Media, I can't see any reason why this won't work for another TV source (such as Sky etc).
