I bought this unit in the hopes I could modify it to carry both guns or 2 ten point crossbows on it.I had to drill new holes for the upper gun mount and mounted them on top of the bar instead of under like the directions say.I also shorted the cross support bar so the crossbows were below the top of my midsize ranger.This whole setup was a miner modification and works out perfect.I bolted this unit to the bed behind 2 Quad boxes which by the way is a 5 star item.If you do this make sure you mount the unit back far enough the limbs clear the open lid of the boxes.If you want to remove the unit just take out 2 bolts and the whole thing comes off and just leaves the angle brackets bolted to the bed.This gun rack is well worth the money and well made.

Was extremely easy to put together and install on a polaris general. Holds four shot guns well. Only thing I would change is to add another bar or link to the top to hold the rack at the angle required for your application.

The rack looks well made ( not installed yet), nice design. being handy capped i'm looking forward to a lot of hunting / shooting . the box was open on one end, butt appears complete

This has worked very well so far. I have strapped 4- $3K plus shotgunts and ran the clay course over rough terrain. The holders have held tight. even under a small tree. 1-8-20 This gun rack has held up very well since I installed it. So far, it has held a 15K Krieghoff trap special combo (not mine) firmly enough for the owner's confidence.

Overall good rack. Mounted on a 2013 Polaris 900XP. Cut 1.5" inches off the ends so it would stay below roof level, didn't want it hitting more branches than it needs too. Feels like it will be sturdy enough. Also had extra black foam that I used instead of what was provided. Impressed with this design from a safety standpoint. Most other holders the muzzle could be pointed at someone or your head. This also accommodates four guns.

Very nice .. I added a brace from the top of rack to the front of the bed for more stability and used it for quail hunting ... Worked great ! My fellow hunters and friends loved it ! Only downside , was the plastic caps that cover the gun holder , come off easily .... Still is way better that a floor mount ... I would highly recommend .
