Tuffy Rugged Rubber Grenade Medium

We bought this toy for our 10 month old bloodhound puppy who likes to chew and chew and chew on something until it is in a million pieces. We play catch with her using this toy, and then she'll focus in on it when she is tired and try to destroy it. This toy is solid hard rubber, and so far it shows no signs of wear. Usually our puppy gives up after a few minutes of trying and looks for something else to chew up, like my shoes! If your dog likes to chew, I recommend you get this toy. Be careful though as it is kind of heavy and could break a glass window.

I bought the medium grenade for my 30 lbs mini aussie. He chewed the rope off and tore chunks off the top of the grenade (the grey part) within about 5 minutes. To be fair, he is the type that will try to chew apart every toy he comes into contact with. It is a cool toy but it is NOT made for tough chewers. If your dog is the type that enjoys seeing their toys in pieces, this is not for them.

Friends bought this for us and it quickly turned into our dog's favorite toy. It's really tough rubber which is great for chewers. Our dog doesn't eat things apart though, and after a few months I could see where another dog that likes to eat things would have eaten this apart. It took our dog almost a year to go through one of these so I purchased two more to keep in the closet as backups. I highly recommend this!

Our puppy tore this up in less than 10 minutes. The directions say to remove the cord if they're going to chew it since the cord is only for throwing. The cord was nylon, which made it very difficult to remove. Once we removed the cord, she started biting off the top of the grenade since it was a softer rubber. I won't buy any of this brand anymore. I will stick to Kong toys.

The string was gone within minutes! But the actual grenade has surprisingly held up pretty well! My 1-year-old pup is an 80-pound lab/poodle/mastiff/retriever mix. I thought he would have chewed off the grey part by now, but so far so good! Definitely shows lots of chew marks. But I'd recommend. It's a good size for playing fetch in the house!

My dogs loved these toys. They especially like trying to get the rope out. They are strong, well made toys and after several months my dogs are still enjoying them. Thanks for a good product, fast shipping and fair pricing!

It was a great idea for my friends puppy as they're an army family. They loved it and so did he; so much so that he ripped it to shreds in less than a month! I'm sure he had a ball with it though!!

Great toy for a pup who like to chew a little. The light grey area is softer rubber and get damaged by chewing.

Good value, strong rubber, dog toy. My staffie loved it and would not put it down. It took him a good few days to destroy it. (its tough!)

So disappointed with this! As mentioned in other reviews, the paint started coming off and my dog was able to chew it/start eating pieces immediately - he's not that big, he's a 13lb jack russell terrier. I threw it out within 10 minutes of giving it to him because I was worried.
