DEL INDIO PAPAGO Night Skin Cream with Tepezcohuite 60g / 2.Fl Oz

I have been looking for a moisturizer for my face now that I'm older. I'm Asian, 50 and generally used unrefined, unbleached, extra virgin coconut oil for my entire body. I've used it for the last twenty years. Since I've been going through the "changes", my skin has gotten extremely dry. It was so dry that I started using the standard eczema lotion, E*cerin but stopped because it really doesn't absorb and it's greasy. I purchased the N*ked and Thr*ving skin care line and that didn't do it for me. It maximized my pores and made my wrinkles more pronounced! This Tepezcohuite night cream really absorbs into my skin and it's not greasy or thick. It's so easy to apply! A little goes a long way! I loved it so much that last week, I purchased the Day Cream Tepezcohuite and I swear by both products. My skin is glowing and I use the day cream in the same way. I wash my face in the morning, then apply the Day Cream Tepezcohuite. I had no allergic reactions to it. It even made me look so good that I'm not wearing foundation anymore. If anything, I will wear a CC cream if I'm going out. That's it. Being that my skin is SO moisturized, it makes my CC cream look flawless. A few months ago when I used the CC cream, you were able to see my wrinkles before using Tepezcohuite. With Tepezcohuite being so hydrating, it makes applying makeup so easy. The only thing I see is a well-hydrated face and neck. I will use this cream forever now and I see why it's worked for the last few decades for others. I gave this a whirl because I've heard about its hydrating effects. I am also extremely allergic to all kinds of makeup and skin care treatments. I have combination skin in my T-zone which causes blackheads and when I applied foundation, you would see my foundation pool on both sides of my nose like I have crease on both sides of my nose. The only thing I've been able to use was M*ry K*y cosmetics and moisturizer due to my allergies. I've been using Tepezcohuite for two weeks and I can already see a difference after the first week. It leaves the skin on my face SO supple and soft. I'm not allergic to it either!!! I wake up in the morning and my face is still fresh and hydrated, too. I wash my face with my daily Cetaphil cleanser, then I apply the Tepezcohuite day cream. A little goes a long way! I'm tempted to use it all over my body since it absorbs and hydrates so well. People have complimented my skin after the first week, too. I saw a noticeable difference in the appearance of my smile lines and the wrinkles between my eyes from squinting - the huge, dreaded "11" wrinkles. It minimized the look of them because my skin is so hydrated. I couldn't get enough of it and decided to purchased the day cream and it works just as great! Usually my skin does the adverse effect when it comes to "anti-aging" products. Now I see the difference and feel I've discovered the fountain of youth because it's all about keeping your skin hydrated so when your skin moves, the elasticity is there so you're not stretching out your skin creating wrinkles. For me, you will have a long time customer for Tepezcohuite!!

Where do I begin in describing what a wonderful facial cream this is? This is actually my second jar and I'm going to be needing a third pretty soon! I first discovered it last year, having read an article online about how Salma Hayek raves about this cream. I looked it up here on Amazon and had no trouble finding it. It is so reasonably priced and since I've always loved how beautiful Ms. Hayek's skin is, I decided to try it myself. I also went online to research the main ingredient - Mimosa Tenuiflora. It's a plant grown in Mexico that is an anti-inflammatory and doctors use it on burn victims down there. At first, I didn't know how to incorporate it into my nighttime facial regimen so I started off just using it like a serum, before my moisturizer. I didn't really know what to expect at the time and after a few weeks, I gradually stopped using it, sticking the jar in a drawer. About a few months or so later, I pulled it out again and decided to give it another try. A little bit about my skin: I am African American with oily, acne-prone skin. I'm in my early fifties and still have acne issues (I was told this would clear up once I got out of my teen years. It, didn't, lol!!). With the high melanin in my skin, when scars heal, they leave dark marks behind so in addition to fighting acne I've got to deal with that as well and I've found some wonderful products to help with that. At the time I started using this Tepezcohuite night cream again (pronounced 'teh-pez-co-wee-teh'), I had an acne bump on my face, on my jawline, under my right ear. It was under the surface, I could feel it coming in and I was bummed because it was already starting to create another dark mark on my face that I was going to have to fight in the coming weeks. So, I did my face regimen, put on the night cream and went to bed. The next morning, when I was washing my face, I noticed that the 'bump' had gone down a bit. I was pleased but didn't think too much of it. That night, I used the night cream again and again in the morning, I saw that the bump had diminished some more. Holy cow! Is it this cream? I wondered. Every night, I kept using it and not only noticed that the acne blemish was diminishing even more until five days later, it was gone, but the dark mark it was causing was lightening too. And over the course of the next couple of weeks, I noticed an incredible improvement in the dark marks already on my face. For the most part, my main go-to moisturizer is good old fashioned cocoa butter, which has worked on my dark marks since I was a kid but it works slow. But the Tepezcohuite works a lot quicker. It's the anti-inflammatory properties, I'm guessing, which makes it work well against my acne, but it also has properties to clear the dark pigmentation. Since that 'experiment', I've never NOT used it at night. I use it more like a treatment rather than a moisturizer, wearing it under my cocoa butter and it works well with it, and it also works well with the serums I use (hyaluronic and vitamin C serums). I am so blown away by the results from using this night cream. Please, give it a try if you have oily, acne-prone skin, if you are prone to dark marks. This has been a definite game changer in my facial regimen!!

I'm a 55yo man living in the Northeastern US. Weather up here can vary drastically, with summers up well into the 90s and humid, (f) then down -15 (f) during the winter and dry dry dry. Add to that the salt air since I live along the coast, as well as having to spend a fair amount of time in the sun and a former smoker, my skin looked pretty bad. Bags under my eyes, wrinkles, and it just looked sort of "flat". Started using this product at night. I'd wash and cleanse my skin with warm water and one of those South Korean rice water based cleansers, then while my skin was still damp I'd apply the tepezcohuite cream. Let it soak in for a while then I'd go to sleep. The difference was noticeable in just a week. I mean dramatic. The skin on my forehead lost most of its wrinkles, my "smile lines" were less pronounced, and the skin on my face overall was just more healthy looking. My wife loved it, she actually started using it as well. Putting it on the bags under my eyes in the morning and at night also made a difference, just be careful NOT to rub your eyes for some time after you do. It can be a bit irritating. The down side? The SMELL. I can't stand the smell. I smell like my nana after I put it on. It's not strong, but it's there. This product is great but they really do need to make a version that's unscented. I'd give it five stars if it was.

The product has an excellent reputation as several well-known voices have spoken highly of its effectiveness, and I can see why it’s so well regarded. No greasiness, luxuriously creamy and lightweight, great value for money for this lightly scented, rosy colored moisturizing cream. The seller was outstanding, very professional, prompt, and kind in all interactions. A smooth, pleasant experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

I noticed a huge difference after one use. Bumps are down, redness is settling, etc. But it made me shake, my heart race, and I did not sleep. I thought maybe there was some sort of stimulant property to the tepezcohuite, so I looked it up since caffeine was not listed as an ingredient. While I did not find any evidence of stimulant properties, I learned that it’s used as a minor hallucinogen in drinks used in various ceremonies. If you’re sensitive to these types of things or have medical conditions that you’re not sure how you would react, don’t try it. It’s not regulated or studied here in the US and larger-scale side effects are not really known (outside of birth defects in lab animals). So, like many skincare products, it works great. Just be careful; it’s not for everyone. Oh, and the smell is nostalgic for me. It smells like the old St. Ives face mask that they used to sell in the ‘80s. Or Dial soap. Either way, it’s nice, at least to me.

I love this face cream and have ordered it on more than one occasion. Unfortunately, the last time I ordered this skin cream was in July of 2025 but I did not take the plastic wrapping off until recently (almost 6 month later) because I was using the last bit in my current jar. When I did remove the plastic wrapper, I found the product had dried up and was unusable. I was so disappointed! Of course, it is well beyond the return/refund deadline. Sadly, I will not be purchasing this face cream on Amazon again.

I’m not super picky about my nighttime face creams but this is really nice and lasts a super long time. Like others have mentioned it almost seems gritty when you first put it on and at first I thought maybe I had accidentally gotten a face scrub/cleanser instead but no- just keep rubbing and it turns into a very soft feeling butter like cream on your face. For this price this may become my go to cream for night time coverage. My face still feels soft in the morning

I’m a 50-year-old woman who has dry skin for the first time in my life. This product is perfect for moisturizing without being oily. My face looks considerably better when I use this at night - I just wake up looking well-rested, which I definitely did not expect. It has a unique but not unpleasant scent. The texture is also unique, but it doesn’t detract from its effectiveness. As an added benefit- if you have a child who takes Accutane, this moisturizer is outstanding for their skin.
