The product sprays on and leaves no white residue. But, as the instructions explain, you MUST wipe off the residual spray from the paint as well as the window glass, including (especially) the convertible rear window because it does not easily come off with a damp rag if it sits too long. Ask me how I know. As an aside, I expected the water to bead up more than it does. I applied (3) coats and let them dry in between after using a soft horse hair-style brush to rub it into the fabric of my 2020 Mustang's fabric convertible top. Water really doesn't bead up on the top.

First off I have my first new convertible... an Audi TT. I read about RaggTopp in various blogs and decide to try it. I read about the competition what is it..409, 606, well whatever! To start I put on a coat, let it dry then recoated it. A week later I put on another coat, and I what I did was take a soft horsehair brush like a shoeshine brush, as I sprayed a 2x2 ft section I took the brush and gently brushed into the canvas top. I did this over the entire top. Once a week for the next 3 weeks I did the same. The top looks BEAUTIFUL and I can tell it's completely protected, because it has a great, beautiful, black "sheen" to it, and sheds water like Goretx jacket.The canvas top looks as beautuful as the paint looks shiny. It's a deep black with that great sheen to it. I'm sold! When I wash the car I don't aways wash the top if it's not dirty, but the water beads off like just waxed paint. The other thing I like about it is the fact you don't have to mask and cover with plastic the whole rest of the car to keep overspray off. Todays car care is about convenience too. With RaggTopp I can do a quick spray over once a month with ease! Another inportant consideration is the fact it's recommended by the one company that make a majority of the material for most convertibles worldwide. I'll put this stuff and my top up against ANYTHING else, anytime! I'm speaking as a user on a new top, as with anything with age, all things deteriorate. I'm not sure once it starts going bad nothing is going to make it new again. I am convince that on a new top RaggTopp will"Preserve" a new top, but like anything will not necessarily rejuvinate a half wore out canvas convirtible top. Buy it, apply it like I did and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about! The only 303 in my life is my area code...

Product came promptly. Helped my neighbor order it. He just bought a previously garage-housed convertible Porsche, and now didn't have garage space. The black top was nice & dark & in great shape, and I recommended he use this, as I'd used it for my car before selling it, and seemed to work well. (I only used it once—about a year before selling my car, so can't speak to how well it'd works over YEARS, but it definitely caused rain to bead up after application.) Hope this helps him protect against UV rays too, which was another reason I'd bought it for previously. I saw the sun's strong fading effects with Covid related gym closures when I took walks wearing my BLACK shirt, and shirt got faded within severals months, walking several times a week. Gonna speculate it'll at least slow down any fading. His 1990's era car is gorgeous!

Quality product proudly made in the USA. Even though you buy thru Amazon and carefully packaged item come from the manufacturer. Even down to a nicely wrapped can, instructions and brochure. The pride in this product shows. I’ve used them on a Saab convertible and now my soft top bronco. Excellent product, easy to apply and protects your investment. 5-stars and I’d give it more if I could.

Online reviews and feedback from the car forums had been outstanding. I applied it to my Porsche top. It improved the appearance some. The water-beading did not last as long as I expected, on a car that is only driven occasionally, and always garaged unless on an overnight trip somewhere. I carefully followed the directions on the can. The cost per application seems high. Not a bad product but didn't live up to my perhaps unrealistic expectations.
