Keson RR112 - 1 Ft. Measuring Wheel

Item works well enough, but I had to measure a large parking lot for a recoat and seal, and the angle of the handle doesn't make sense. If using it for an extended length of time you'll notice it too. With the angle you have to position it in to use it, it should have a 45 or 90 degree cane style handle on it... The straight handle is inline with your arm, so it's 90 degrees from the way your hand wants to grab it. Worked, but my wrist was sore as hell by the time I was done.

I love this measuring wheel. It's small, fits in a satchel and is very light. I use it to measure very large spaces (.5 million square feet) both indoor and outside. The Good: It's small, compact, and easy to carry. It extends out to use without stooping and it makes measuring large or non-linear areas easy. The Bad: The telescoping mechanism is fragile, and if you press too hard on it it will fold up and break fairly easily. It's not made of glass, but it is better for the occasional user, not the daily grinder. The Verdict: It's a great tool to have and when you need it, you are really glad you have it.

I use measuring wheels to conduct estimates for removable pool fencing. Ideally used on concrete/paver surfaces. A bigger wheel is better when used on grass/dirt/rocks/etc. It's nice that you can roll the wheel back and the measuring wheel rolls back the feet/inches. A nice touch if you need to change the path of the project. It's lightweight and folds up nicely.

Easy to pull out handle, then walk distances instead of having to use long tape measures that sometimes slip and retract. Seems great for either inside or outside use as I am a property inspector. I wished I had one when I used to sell real estate before the market crashed in 2008. Good sturdy quality and small wheel is not an obstruction in field use. :-)

This item "Keson RR10M Measuring Wheel (Graduations: Metric)" is labeled as measuring in meters and decimeters, but the counter is measuring decimal FEET, as you can clearly see in the video. The seller "SIM" included nothing but a packing slip with the measuring wheel. We have three others not from this seller, that work correctly. Will update this review if the seller replaces this one with one that actually measures meters, correctly.

This is a cheaper, less bulky version of the surveryor's tool (also realtor's and track coach's). I am a rehabbing paraplegic; I measure the crutch walks I go on in the neighborhood. This is accurate to the foot, so I can get even slight improvements of distance or speed very accurately. That helps motivate me. I do the walking then go out again on my electric scooter with the measuring wheel to get my exact distance covered.

As a professional CCTV Installer, this tool is a must when getting distance measurements for running long lengths of cable. It is well made and compact. For the price, you can't beat it. It records accurately and has made my job MUCH easier. A+ product

Small, compact and get's the job done. I use this for location surveys in the film industry. I've read some conflicting reviews about it's accuracy. The first week I had the unit I would measure everything twice to make sure I was getting real data, it's been pretty spot on. I'm guessing user error would be to blame in other people's reviews. There ARE better devices on the market, if you are trying to launch a rocket, drill for diamonds or need measurements smaller than an inch, get a bigger wheel and spend more money.
