Consistently great!
Iโve tried a lot of breakfast teas over the years, and this one quickly became my favorite. It has that classic rich black tea taste thatโs perfect for mornings. Itโs strong enough to wake you up but smoothly and delicious. Frontier Co-op herb have been consistently good. The tea tastes fresh, aromatic, and consistent from batch to batch. Great value for the amount you get, especially for daily tea drinkers. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys a traditional English breakfast tea with a clean, robust flavor.

Great tasting, quality tea, large quantity, super value.
I've recently made the move to loose tea after reading so much about micro plastics in tea bags. I did a lot of research on tea companies and chose Frontier for its quality and that they have organic offerings. This English Breakfast Black Tea is wonderful. I never knew that tea could have this much flavor. Because of the quality I had to adjust the amount I use per mug...about 1/2 tsp does the job. I also make sweet iced tea...yummy. I bought borosilicate glass containers to house my Frontier flavors and will not have to purchase tea for a loooong time. Highly recommended.

Good choice for tea
High quality tea with a good flavor. Be careful the longer you steep it the stronger and more bitter it becomes.

Good Tea - Excellent Value
This is an excellent loose leaf breakfast tea, especially when you consider the price. The tea is cut leaf, uniform size, good color and clean with very little dust or fannings. I usually drink Bewley's Irish Breakfast tea in bags. (The Irish really know about blending teas and although tea snobs say that you can't get a good tea in bags, that's just not so if you know where to shop.) But sometimes, I prefer a loose breakfast tea and this one is an excellent value. If you like strong tea, British style, you have to pay attention to the brewing. First, heat the pot or mug. Then, I use a heaping teaspoon of Frontier EBT with 8 oz boiling water and let brew for 4 minutes. Strain into a second mug, add about 1 oz of whole milk and presto, you have a perfect cup of English tea. Strong tea flavor, good mouth feel and astringency, but without too much bitterness. The Frontier people don't say what teas are used to make this blend. But I suspect it contains Assam, Ceylon and maybe some Yunan. It has a unique flavor that is not common for English breakfast teas.

I use this tea for all of my home brewed kombucha
This is the tea I use to brew my kombucha, so I go through quite a bit of it. The quantity and quality for the price is what has kept me a pretty loyal Frontier bulk products user for the last 30 years or so, and this tea is no exception. If anyone is interested, I use 2.5 Tbsp of tea in 3 qts of water, steeped for 30 minutes. Then I add not quite 1 c of sugar, let cool to room temp, and then add to my kombucha jar with the scoby and about 2 c of the previous batch of kombucha. I bottle after 5 days. The finished kombucha tastes very close to the flavor of fresh-pressed apple cider.

Better than my old tea bags!
I make iced tea every day, and I used Tazo tea bags for years. After learning that some tea bags can contain microplastics, I decided to switch to loose tea and tried this Frontier Co-op English Breakfast tea. Iโm honestly very glad I did. The flavor is excellent โ full, robust, and smooth โ and I actually like it better than the Tazo I was using before. It makes great iced tea, and a one-pound bag lasts a long time, so it feels like a good value too. I liked it enough that Iโve already ordered my second bag. This is now my regular tea.
