AAGUT 3 Inch TPR Heavy Duty Casters 3/8"-16 x 1 Threaded Stem Castors, Locking Swivel Replacement for Furniture, Workbench, 4 Pack

I attached these to a 4' x 6' Rockler workbench that I typically have loaded down with 300+ pounds of equipment and materials, which was originally equipped with the static adjustable feet. I needed to be able to move the bench around in the workshop from time to time, so after looking at the threaded stem dimensions and the price of the Rockler locking casters for this bench, I decided to take a look around. These AAGUT caster wheels were exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price, and after loading up the bench again and moving it around, these wheels have proven to be plenty sturdy and roll very easily. Most of the time, it's a matter of turning the table from one end only - the swivel action seems smooth, and more importantly (for me) the locking mechanism is easily moved in and out of position with my foot. The benchtop also feels sturdy without movement just as it did with the static feet. It comes with a very thin, flimsy-looking wrench - but don't toss it aside, it's a VERY handy tool that slips between a small gap of the table legs allowing a topside wrench or socket wrench to tighten the stem bolt from above. A quality set of swiveling, locking caster wheels that certainly made my workbench more usable!

I installed these on a wire shelving unit. The castors appear to be solidly constructed, were easy to install, and are moving the partially-loaded unit very well. Each castor has a "parking brake." Other sets of four castors often only have brakes on two. The castors also come with a set of nuts and washers. That's not needed for shelving with their own threaded inserts in the legs, but they would be useful for attaching the castors to something which just had holes for bolts. Note the thread size. Shelving with threaded inserts takes various sizes of stem.

My folding desk came with some very inexpensive plastic swivel wheels. It was a bear to get my desk in place, trying to move it across the carpet. Prime day I found these wonderful castor wheels on sale. I bought two sets because I needed six. I measured the stem, to make sure they were compatible. And my desk is now amazing because of these caster wheels. No more pushing and shoving to get it into place, it now Glides across the carpet. I found them very easy to install, and the perfect replacement for my situation.

PRO'S -After reading other reviews I decided on this brand. Others said it was hard to tighten the bolts because a normal wrench won't fit between the bearing and the top nut. With this set a thin wrench came with the wheels that worked perfect. I built a stand to hold a generator that weighs 235lbs plus about 40 lbs of steel and whatever a battery weighs and the wheels are holding up fine, and no rubbing or sticking. CONS- The only thing I see bad with the wheels is the wheel locks won't stay locked but that's not a necessity for me. All and all seem to be worth the money.

I bought a large bird cage for our parrot but the wheels were not very good, so I replaced them with these wheels and they have greatly improved the mobility of the cage.

No more dragging around my heavy sander, now I can roll it into a corner out of the way when it isn't needed. The locking mechanism on each caster prevents the machine from moving when it is in use. The casters were described precisely, very easy to install, a thin wrench and new nuts are included and the ball bearing wheels work smoothly. If the functionality is maintained over the long term, as I expect, these casters are a bargain.

Fit and roll good. Work well on my 15" x 14" x 72" wire rack shelves. Wheels are great on my cement floor.

but then, they failed. installed these on a shop creeper type stool. worked well for about 6 months and then started to notice ball bearings on the garage floor. after close examination of the caster, I found the reason, the top cover for the bearings that looks like a large washer, only appears to be pressed on the bolt and there is about an eighth of an inch gap between the washer and what looks like a nut just above it, but is really part of the bolt, it does not move. that top bearing cover breaks loose and is then forced up to the bottom of that 'nut'. when that happens the gap where the bearings reside is now just big enough for the bearings to escape, and they do. every caster I installed failed this way. it is a manufacturing defect. that bearing top cover needs to be welded in place, not just pressed on, or something needs to be placed between it and that 'nut' (which isn't a nut). So fair warning on these, they start out nice, but will fail shortly there after.

I used this on my two in one dolly. The original wheels were plastic and super noisy. I replaced them with these and I've been happy to use the dolly ever since. Great durable and quality product that rolls smoothly and locks. Very functional as expected.

Work well for my bbq but not sure if they will be suitable for exterior use, rust?

These were chosen to go onto a musical instrument keyboard stand. They're sturdy and solid and I like the width of the wheels. They roll without wobble and have no annoying seam in the rubber tire. They only thing I would like to se changed is the lock-washers and washer to be closer to the shaft size because there is too much space on both. Possibly chose a metric size lock-washer and washer to get the tolerance distance closer?

Quality is there, used to replace casters on a pavement cleaner.

I put these casters on my bbq, they work great, and the price is excellent. Four swivel casters, and they all lock. Time will tell if they rust too much, but for now I am very happy with them.
