Superb engineering and build quality throughout

I've been riding since 1979, so I should have known better. This pump is high quality, but I needed a pump that could pump up all my bikes (gravel 38mm, mountain 2.6in, road 28mm, knock around urban 40mm) easily and this just takes too long to pump up a tire (other than road 28mm) from zero when changing tires or inner tube. Even topoping off a high volume tire is annoying. I take my bikes all over the US, and packing this safely is always a challenge. I should have bought a $60 Topeak with higher capacity and more sacrificial plastic for throwing it in the back of the car. Otherwise, the description is spot on with wood handle, metal barrel, easy to read air pressure gauge, and solid air chuck. If you want a "status" pump or conversation starter, this is it. If you want something super practical, this ain't it. I recommend it, but only narrowly.

It’s practically dysfunctional… recommended to all consumers worldwide not to buy this brand; unfortunately for me I am out of the date that I can still return it; I’ve using my Son’s pump since I tried the first time this pump. When I found this pump dysfunctional, I placed in the storage and plan to return it, but I forgot.

I've used a variety of bike pumps over 60+ years of cycling, but never a Silca. I decided to go for it and I was not disappointed. This thing is engineered to last, and to feel like a real instrument. It's solid, simple, and fixable if needed. No plastic. No glitz or oddly-shaped parts. Love it.

I invested in this hoping for a handsome upgrade to my kit. For the price and the reviews of this pump, I expected I'd be getting an excellent piece of hardware. But as Freckle wisely said: "Sometimes things that are expensive are worse". Even with the Hiro Chuck attached to this pump it is impossible to inflate the tires on my road bike without deflating them completely first. Neither chuck attaches well or easily to the valve and as a consequence either: air leaks from the chuck after 30-60psi, no air gets in the tire at all, OR (my favorite) the chuck blasts off the valve with enough force to break a spoke. For the wad this pump costs it should should practically pump your tires when you look at it the right way. It's well constructed though, I have no doubts it will last forever... no doubt part of it's endurance comes from it never being used

Mixed feelings on this pump. Great quality materials, looks good, handle is a nice thing to hold. However… arrived with bezel off and the glass rattling around in the box. Also different gauge and max pressure to that shown. The pump head is a great fit on the valve but doesn’t feel super secure in the schrader connection. The gauge whilst better representing typical road tyre range is small and the bezel would cast shadow on the tight scale. This pumps build and materials with the volume and gauge from the Terra would be perfect….as it is, not quite there.

Pump looks nice. Pump guage doesnt work. Dont need an art piece. Returned.

写真の通りSUPER PISTA（左）も使用しています。今回、車載移動用にPIST PLUS（右）を購入しました。ヘッド部は同時に購入したHIRAME 縦カムに即変更しているので、標準品の具合は分かりません。大きさは、写真の通り小さいです。小さいので、意識しなくてもしっかりと上までポンピング出来ます。25cで7berまで入れるのに35回かかりました。最後まで楽にポンピング出来ましたので、全く不満はありませんでした。

Gute Pumpe!

大昔に買った同社のピスタが壊れたのでポンプにしては高すぎると思いましたが思い切って購入してみました。ポンプ性能は申し分ないと思います。 本題に入ると実はヒラメヘッドなどに交換するつもりで買ったのですが、ホースを切るのももったいないと思ったのでそのまま使っています。付属ヘッドの仏式の方はロック機構がなくズボッと挿しこむだけのもので少し慣れが必要です。ただ慣れてしまえば本当に挿すだけになるので、ヒラメでリング回転させてロックしてといった儀式が不要になり結果的に楽になります。
