This charger worked good for me

My original power supply became intermittent because the wire near the low voltage plug got flexed too many times. It had a blue indicator light and I could get it to work by bending it certain ways, but it got worse and finally became useless. I was pleasantly surprised at the low cost and compatibility of this charger. The charging time is the same even though the brick is half the size. My laptop can't tell the difference. I suspect that most Dell laptops use the same charging plug and voltage and that the real concern is whether the charger can adequately supply the laptop when it is consuming power by running power-intensive programs. I use mine for web surfing, occasional word processing, so I don't worry about this. My battery is old and lasts about 90 minutes, but not worth replacing yet. I use much more powerful desktops for work.

Original Dell charger was bulkier and chord ruined from wrapping around brick. This ones smaller and works just fine so far.
