First off, this is a great item for someone who doesn't want to have their mouse and keyboard on top of their desk and have a little extra freedom with movement. So lets get down to the pros and cons PROS: - Nice sturdy tray with multiple movement paths. ( tray movement side to side up and down ) - Full mouse pad for tray and the ability to remove the wrist rest - Easy install ( pay attention to YOUR setup since there can be 4 different ways to hang it ) - Comes almost fully assembled. (It's about 6 pieces ) - Easy to follow instructions - Comes with a screwdriver for installation - Nice self tapping screws. MAKE SURE they won't bust through your desk! - Screws are all phillips head so you can use your own tools if you don't want to use the included screwdriver CONS: - A little tough to pull in and out. I would recommend a little WD40 on the track to help with the tray being pulled in and out. It can be a little tough and may shake your desk. - The wheel to loosen the tray is LARGE. This is a bit tedious for someone like me since I'm taller so it may take some getting used to. I keep bumping my knee on it. - Instructions may be easy to follow but the print is SMALL. This one is just my opinion. In a nutshell, this is a very nice item and is sturdy and beefy. The sliding mechanism and arm are heavy so it shows that it is made with quality. This isn't some simple store bought item. It doesn't wobble and works like a champ. It can hide completely under your desk so you're not stuck sitting farther away from your desk. Just remember, this does hang down from under your desk so you may need to adjust your chair.

It took me a bit over an hour to install, and it was worth the effort and expense. It's certainly not inexpensive, but the materials are high quality, the directions clear and thorough, and the results are all I had hoped for. I was concerned about mounting this because my desk has a 1" metal bar supporting the top along the front edge, but the design includes very flexible installation, both in where to position the support arms as well as 3 levels of height adjustment for the tray itself. I also like that the tray is wide enough that I don't feel boxed in, and once it's installed, it looks like it came with the desk, not like an add-on. The in/out action of the tray is super smooth thanks to ball bearings on both sides, and it gently clicks into place when fully under the desk, so it won't accidentally slide out when not needed. The only issue I had during installation was that several of the screws used to attach the unit to the desk almost came through the desk top, which is 1/2". They didn't actually break the surface, but if I look hard I can see very tiny dimples where they are located, so just be aware of that. But otherwise, I'm super happy with the results and would highly recommend this if, like me, you're wanting to free up some desk space and want something that doesn't just clamp on.

Overview: So I was looking far and wide for a keyboard tray that needed to fulfill several requirements, the primary of which were full sized width (able to fit a full gaming keyboard And mouse), and be sufficient sturdy for gaming and long service. This product looked good and although a bit of a price premium over generic tray kits, decided to give it a try. Overall I am please but there were some disappointing surprises. Size and Dimensions: I have a Logitech G910 keyboard and G502 mouse and in terms of width I have plenty of space. However in depth it is a different story. What is not clear in any of the advertisements is how shallow the tray is front to back once you account for the integrated wrist rest in the front. How they figured this would fit a full size gaming keyboard is beyond me. Luckily for me the 910's support feet are somewhat inset and the keyboard overhanging to the rear a little isn't a problem. The tray's OVERALL dimensions are 28-1/2" Width and 9-1/4" Depth, however the Actual depth when you exclude wrist rest is only 7-3/4"... keep this in mind and make sure your keyboard will fit! Leg room: Your legs may hit underneath! The adjustment bracket protrudes about 2-1/2" below the bottom of the tray and the adjustment handle about 3-1/4" below the bottom of the tray. Given the other good aspects of the design I am willing to deal with this but I was very disappointed. Also consider that the extra brackets they include for installation on desks with sub-frames will further lower the tray assembly. Quality and Install: Overall quality is quite good. The tray has a carbon fiber like top surface and is very stiff and well finished. The mouse pad is a separate layer/fabric and covers the entire tray and has some red and white accents. Integrated wrist rest is a bit on the hard side, but it will do the job. The metal pieces and brackets for the mount bracket and adjustment "knuckle" are likewise well-built and nicely sturdy. The main track is attached to the desk with 14 aggressive thread sheet metal screws. It feels very secure and was very straight forward to install. They even included a T-handle reversible screw driver! A nice touch. You will also need a few things like tape measure, straight edge and small drill bit if you want to do a really nice install. Is it sturdy? Yes, for sure. Is it secure? Well, yes and mostly yes. It feels very strong and has very little sag with the weight of your wrists/arms on it. However it does have a little slop in the track left and right (the same direction that it rotates for adjustment). So side to side you'll feel a loose slop then firm again and you have to push harder to actually "slew" the adjustment. The track is simply a mental rail with plastic bumpers/shims that slide. There is no ball bearing or anything fancy, so the slide in and out does not feel the most smooth or high tech, but it gets the job done. I don't have any trouble with it moving in and out when I type so I guess it has the appropriate amount of friction. There is no adjustment or lock in that regard. In short, this tray is well-built and I do recommend it. But just make sure it will suit your needs and not be a problem with its drawbacks.

This tray is fantastic. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. I just don't think that i'll get to that point. I'll go into a bit more detail. Comfort: This tray is very comfortable. It is very easy to adjust. Adjusting this tray is all done via one knob, which is located under the tray. This knob is the only problem that i have with this tray. This knob allows for the entire tray to be adjusted to fit your needs, which is incredibly simple to use. The problem is not with the ease of use, it's with the location. When i slide this tray over my lap and then i slide my body under the tray, this knob resides exactly where my knee wants to be. Disregarding this unfortunate placement, this tray is extremely comfortable, and even offers some limited negative tilt (which i prefer)! At first, i was concerned by the method that the tray slides back and forth, which is just some sliding plastic on metal rails. After using it for a while, it occurred to me that the design was simple on purpose. It is not easy to slide, which keeps the tray in place without requiring a locking mechanism. This allows me to slide the tray in and out without adjusting any knob, but also keeps the tray in place unless i want to move the tray! Sturdiness: This tray is very sturdy. I am the kind of person that leans on the keyboard and slams on the keys (from learning to type on a typewriter), and this tray doesn't even budge when i type on it. It feels like i'm typing on a desk! It allows for multiple movements, which do not affect the sturdiness of the tray. This tray is incredibly sturdy. I speak about how i mounted it in the next paragraph. Easy To Install: This entire tray was not difficult to install. The tray arm assembly can come out of the rail itself, which makes installing the rail underneath very simple. I installed this using the standoffs, as i have a very complicated situation on the underside of my desk. There are actually more orientations under the desk than are advertised, as there are extra holes in the rail! this made it so the very limited space that i had under my desk could be effectively utilized. I would recommend pre-drilling some pilot holes in your desk to ensure that assembly is easier, but other than that this was a breeze.

UPDATE: I'm still more or less satisfied with the tray, but in a few months some moving parts became a bit lose and started making rattling noise while I'm typing. Just an annoyance but may be a deal breaker for some people. The tray is very good - big enough for my Logitech K860 plus mouse, sturdy and adjustable. But there are a few minor problems. 1. The in/out sliding mechanism does not have any bearings, so it may take some force to do it. I'm still getting used to slightly lifting the tray to make the sliding easier. 2. The adjustment knob is not used too much, but it's rather big and located so that I often bump it with my knee. I'd prefer the knob and the frame to sit a bit higher or deeper under the desk. 3. The wrist rest did not work for my and I had to remove it. It's not a bit deal, but now the tray has three bolt holes and the pad cutout right in front of me. This could be easily fixed by including a low profile pad of the same shape as the wrist rest.

Long review. Short summary: 1. No fatigue or pain after 8/10 hours at the desk. 2. Plenty of space for keyboard and mouse. 3. Adjusts exactly where I need it. 4. Easy to install. 5. More cost-effective than buying a $1000 chair to adjust to your desk. 6. Very happy and would recommend. 7. tray adjustment isn’t as smooth as the very expensive ergonomic trays, but the difference in smooth movement isn’t worth $500. I installed this on my adjustable height desk, 2x4 ft top. I was able to install it over the crossmember on the adjustable height desk without any problem. To minimize fatigue and pain, ergonomic experts suggest that you’re legs should be bent at the knee at 90°. Your upper arms should be bent 90° at the elbow, with your forearms resting on the armrests of the chair, allowing your hands to move free, and your head pointed straight forward. I’m able to obtain the correct settings for my arms and legs with this tray and my $100 big box store chair. I’ve had very expensive ergonomic trays at past companies where I have worked and I wasn’t sure if this cheap one would adjust enough for me, but works just fine. I just leave it in the position where I use it as I have no reason to put it under the table on a regular basis. I use the LARGE Microsoft ergonomic keyboard and the tray has plenty of room for the keyboard and mouse. I posted one picture with my big ergonomic keyboard on the tray and another with a regular size keyboard. A little vegetable oil might help it slide more smoothly when you try and push it all the way underneath the desk, but I didn’t want to try that as I worried it would allow the tray to move while I’m typing. Amazon has some very inexpensive adjustable height desks starting around $130, I would HIGHLY recommend getting one to go with this . A 2’ x 4’ top is plenty of space when you have this tray. It makes it even easier to get comfortable relative to the position of your chair. The only thing I might change would have been to install the tray a little off-center to account for how my 24 inch monitors fit on my desk.

I was looking for a keyboard tray that would work with my custom-built desk, which has a 1" lip at the front, and this was the only one I could find specifically with the ability to handle such a desk. It was a bit on the pricey side, but it was my only option. Of course, it had a lot of other things going for it, and now that I have set it up, I think it was worth the money. It's very stable for this style of keyboard tray (just a little flex at the outside edges of the tray) and has excellent adjust-ability to find the exact position that is most comfortable for you: slide in/out, raise/lower, tilt the tray, and rotation of the tray arm (though not the tray itself). For me, that's all I need. The locking knob under the tray, which loosens and locks the raise/lower and the tilt adjustments is key, since I need to lower the tray to get it under the lip of my desk, so it's nice I don't have to struggle with too much tension every time. Overall, I'm very happy. I have to see how it hold up to repeated use, since I just got it today, but set up was easy (even without turning the desk over), and the installation hardware was really good quality (I will probably end up using the provided screwdriver on a lot of other projects over traditional screwdrivers). The aesthetic also matches my keyboard (black and red) so it's perfect.

Works well for electronic standing desks - it fits over the bars nicely and provides more cable routing support under the desk if needed. A little wobbly left to right but not a huge deal. Its the spacing of the slide device not the tray itself etc. Everything feels solid and is pretty well machined. My biggest gripe with all of these types of under desk keyboard trays is that they never come out far enough. For tall people who like to put their legs up and not have their face right in the screen, they need to come further out. The palm rest for me was extremely hard and caused a lot of pain. I was so thankful it wasn't glued on and could be unscrewed from the bottom. Plus it provided a bad angle for my keyboard, mouse, and chair. Now that leaves three holes in the tray but whateves. It would have also been nice to have had a full tray mouse pad incase you wanted to take the wrist pad off. I've bought a couple full size that I'm going to cut down to size and use double sided tape probably. I am actually considering making a new keyboard tray that is longer since that's probably the easiest modification to get some extension from it. A manufacturer fix could be: they could make the slide metal longer and have a couple stop locks that can be repositioned to allow the tray to slide out longer for people of different heights that need to be a bit further away. Another thing for standing and typing that might be good is an attachable tray wall on the top for negative incline typing. Overall, I am fairly impressed with this keyboard tray and the flexibility of it. I hope they address my concerns for the next version or separate version released. Lastly the adjustment knob underneath, its not the greatest and does hit the knees sometimes and you need to reposition, but not terrible compared to others I've used. I've only seen one other super expensive brand that had a longer metal arm and small adjustment knob on top, but that one itself had tons of flaws. Something like that probably wouldnt work with this design. Another thing to look into if you need more flexibility and ergonomics like me, is using a wireless keyboard and mouse and trays that attach to your chair instead of the desk.

Super. Auch alleine einfach zusammen- und anzubauen. Ziemlich schwer das Teil hat über 7 kg also stabil. Leicht ausziehbar, fraglich ist nur wie lange die Kunststoffführung halten. LG :)

Keyboard tray runs smoothly in and out..and fits perfectly under my desk.

The good: * Sturdy * Extra wide and can have a Logitech G613 gaming keyboard with enough space left for my mouse. * wrist rest is nice and firm The bad: * the slider mechanism (or a lack of) is terrible. once assembled,it's difficult to pull the tray out or push it in. this is because id doesn't actually run on a ballbearing slider mechanism. it's just metal on a metal rail so with the weight of your hands, keyboard, mouse and weight of the tray it makes it difficult to slide it in and out. I'm still keeping it as it's really wide and I can deal with difficulty in pushing or pulling but others might be put off by it.

This product was purchased with some caution. However, it comes packaged with extra braces and screws for different types of desks. I was hesitant and concerned it would not fit my Sit Stand desk as it has a massive mount in the middle with the powerpack. This suits it perfect, and it holds a lot of weight at 3kg and is big enough for an extra large keyboard and large ergonomic trackball. I love how it fits, and it easily slides under my desk. The only negative drawback is that the twist lock is rather tight and springs up very quickly and if you are too slow you can get your fingers caught in the top. i just gently hold the front of the table and I can adjust it quickly.
