well constructed, excellent product quality
I used this to scrap the leaves on the corner of my roof, i didn't even had to use a ladder. The leave accumulation there was so bad that trees started to grow there. The extension pole do flex when sections are extended out fully, but it the telescoping poles are so well made they did not loosen up and it did its job very well. I'd recommend this to anyone, and I really do think these should be sold in hardware stores as well. Few of my neighbors were watching me clean my roof in envy, haha, they have not known such tool existed before, sounds like climbing onto the roof won't be necessary in my neighborhood any more!

A good tool to have in your arsenal, but it's not perfect
Bought this to clear Doug Fir needles off our 1-story roof. The tool is well-made; the telescoping handles work well, with good lever-action tighteners. Unlike other commenters, I never saw any part of this tool come loose during use. When extended nearly-fully, the tool is a little unwieldy and droops a bit. It's not lightweight after a few minutes of use--your shoulders will get a workout. The width-expandability of the rake attachment is sort of nice, but I don't see that it makes a lot of difference--I just set it about halfway between narrowest and widest, and it was able to rake/pull large quantities of needles off the roof, or at least down to the gutter. It takes several passes to do this. Some of the needles remained on the roof afterward, and some hung up in the gutters (we have low-quality gutter covers). For one roof valley, I had to get up on the roof, as the approach angle prevented the tool from working. But it worked on the other valleys. Overall, the tool is useful for sure. It just has limitations, like most tools.

Helpful customer service
I purchased the 24 ft. extension pole and rake set. I used it successfully to remove stuff from my roof. When using it as a rake to move the stuff off my deck, the pole broke at the rake attach point. I called DOCAZOO and explained the problem. Sally was very helpful and sent a replacement pole. My only negative comment is that it would be helpful to have a guide to the pole's use enclosed in the shipping package to indicate care when using it as a rake.

Sturdy
I wanted a means of removing pine straw from the roof of my one level home without me having to get on the roof. This seemed like the ideal tool and, so far, it has worked out nicely. It is of sturdy construction and heavier than I anticipated but, to me, that adds to it's usefulness as it looks and feels like it will last a while.

Reasonable extension pole, not particularly durable nor well-designed
An update on my initial review, below. Besides a poorly-designed rake head attachment, the threaded end of the pole sheared off after 4 years of occasional use. Previous Revew Follows: I received the 24' pole with expandable rake attachment, angle piece and dust mop attachment (thanks for the latter?). The pole is very nicely constructed, with simple-to-use extensions (4 total) lockable into extension by yellow lever handles. These are well constructed. The dense rubber foam grips on the base is nice, useful for handling the pole at full extension. The pole is a bit hard to control at full extension, but the length of reach is great. The extensible rake attachment is nice. To rake (long accumulated) debris from my high, metal roof valleys (8/12), the rake must be completely retracted (narrowest width) as, otherwise, the individual rake tongs are too flexible to bear down and pull out debris. This isn't a deal-breaker, and might actually be useful in other applications. The lock toggle on the rake doesn't seem to be rugged, I expect it will break in use. Also, it stands off of the rake's central shaft and, thus, can be accidentally actuated during use. Please redesign this locking mechanism. The angle accessory sits in line with the pole end and attachments. When the rake is completely screwed on to the angle accessory, and it is screwed completely onto the pole, the rake's orthogonal plane (orthogonal to rake tongs and rake central shaft) isn't properly oriented using the direction of the angle--- in other words the rake can be angled downwards from the pole using the accessory, but the rake will be skewed relative to this angle. I was essentially forced to not use this accessory. It would be nice to be able to use it for roof-cleaning purposes. Finally, the rake has a threaded hole drilled and a screw provided to clamp down on the pole (or angle accessory) threads. The screw provided was too small, and won't lock down on the inner threaded piece (which would have addressed problem above). So most of my problems involved the rake attachment and angle accessory. The pole itself is great, well-engineered.

Great tool / Hard to steer / solid construction
I purchased this go go gadget rake in order to prevent the need to climb on my roof. While it most definitely does the job of cleaning my roofs valleys, at full extension it’s harder to maneuver than I thought. It without a doubt does the job, but not as easily as I hoped. Construction, durability, and locking mechanisms for each extension are top notch. Bonus free duster for high ceiling fans was nice touch to see at this price.

Broke on First Use; Poorly Designed; Don’t Buy
The rake arrived in perfect condition. Within thirty minutes of use, the rake actually broke off from the pole. It cannot be repaired. The telescoping pole is fairly well-designed (although it is technically the part that failed in this case), but the rake itself is a design failure. The rake’s tines actually curl *away from* the roof instead of toward it, so it’s difficult to actually do any raking of roof debris. (Imagine laying your hands flat on a table and extending your fingers until they curl slightly upward and your fingertips lose contact with the surface. That’s how the rake is shaped. Its “fingertips” don’t grab the debris you’re trying to get off the roof.) To make matters worse, the wingnut that secures the rake to the pole sticks out on the *roof* side of the rake and frequently makes contact with the roof before the rake does. The rake adjustment clip sticks out on the wrong side, too. Overall assessment: good concept, poor execution. Don’t buy.

Saves me from the Emergency Room
I use this tool with the rake to get leaves from the roof of my house. We are on a slant of a hill and one side it is very difficult and dangerous to get the leaves down from the top. Much better than getting on a ladder and using a shorter pole. This 24 foot tool is wonderful. Easy to use and the adjustable rate is fantastic. Thank you!

Professional Quality
Professional Quality Some older reviews mentioned a problem with the rake coming loose and turning making it difficult to use or not being angled sufficiently to rake the roof. If these problems existed they have definitely been completely rectified. And I got a free feather duster attachment! Yes I know a 24 foot long feather duster. "How tickled I am"

Kind of does the job.
I don't want to trash the product but it really was of little help to me. Basically it is a straight pole with a rake on the end. Trying to get a proper angle for the rake to make good contact with the shingles is nearly impossible. If you could angle the rake head it would be much better. Works okay for removing large branches though.

Using it as a tapping stick for grain bins
Seems to work, we modified the end a bit.
