Chicory is a great inulin with lots of health benefits.
Even though the probiotic cultures used in L reuteri fermented dairy don't actually feed off inulin, I still add a bit to my fermented dairy for the added fiber (and because I ordered it thinking I had to have it for the recipe). I chose Chicory Inulin for the other health benefits. I use a frother whisk to help make my slurry before adding it to my milk, so I get a very smooth texture. For the quantity you get, I feel it's a great value for the money and will continue to add it to my recipe. I do add a bit of heavy cream dry milk powder to my mix since the milk is what the bacteria need to feed on, and since it is going to be eating for at least 18 hours. I just add the dry milk to my slurry before adding the rest of the milk. It makes delicious, solidified, L reuteri with no separation.

Amazing product!
I love this product for the quality, taste and positive results I get from it. First I make my coffee and sprinkle a half teaspoon on top of my cream and add a dash of cinnamon and feels like a dessert coffee. It has a slight sweetness to it. The fiber effect and healing properties for my gut are by far the best I have ever had. I store it in a lockable lid container and keep in dry cool place . I use it everyday with a total of about a tablespoon a day. I highly recommend.

Great but sticky
Great product, dissolves better than most and tastes better in coffee. The only issue I have is when I receive the product the outside the bag is always sticky. Or I would have rated it with 5 stars.

Works great for yogurt
I use 2 tablespoons for my yogurt and it comes out great....obviously the yogurt bacteria like it. They give it two thumbs up... if they have thumbs.

Bitter tasting white chicory root
I bought this thinking it would be brown an coarse like instant coffee it was white and fine like sugar. I mixed it with chocolate almond milk an it clumped up and stuck to my spoon and couldn't get it to dissolve. So added some fruit and made a smoothie. This is the first time I have tried this so didnt know what to expect. It was so bitter I had to force myself to drink it. I dont know if there is a better way to take this or if it is just going to taste nasty or if I need to dissolve in hot water first. I have heard many good reviews an so will continue to take it but hopefully someone can give me some advice on how to improve on this..I also see that the price has increased almost three dollars since I purchased. Will update my review as I continue to take it.

Microingredients Chicory Root Inulin Powder
I had never heard about chicory before I read about it in a May article in Women’s World magazine about weight loss in conjunction with a low carb diet. After that, I did some research and found that the inulin in chicory root has so many more benefits than just weight loss so I decided to try it and see if it would help with some other health issues. Since it is a natural prebiotic, I switched to it from the Benefiber I had been taking. The Microingredients brand was mentioned in the article along with one other, and it had such good reviews that I decided to purchase it despite it being a little more expensive per ounce. In addition to being USDA organic, vegan, and non GMO along with no added ingredients like sugar, soy, dairy or yeast, it is gluten free. I put it in either cold brew tea or cold water and it dissolves almost instantly with no taste or smell. I have found it to be easy to measure with the included small scoop although I did pour the fine white powder into a wide rimmed glass jar with a rubber seal and metal clamp which has made it easier to scoop instead of putting my hand into the bag. So far so good.
