Golden Goodness—Organic Turmeric That Does It All
This organic turmeric powder has quickly become a must-have in our household. The color is absolutely beautiful—a deep, vibrant golden-yellow that screams freshness and purity. From the moment you open the bag, you can tell it's high quality. The aroma is earthy and clean, without the stale, musty scent that some low-grade turmeric can have. It blends perfectly into everything—whether we’re stirring it into fresh juices, adding it to home-cooked meals, or even mixing it into our chicken feed. It adds a subtle warmth and rich depth of flavor without overpowering other ingredients. In juices, it gives that energizing kick, and in savory dishes, it's the secret weapon behind a truly hearty taste. The organic content gives us confidence that we're using something natural and free from unwanted additives, which is especially important given how often we use it. Health-wise, it’s a powerhouse—great for digestion, anti-inflammatory support, and general immune boosts. Even our chickens seem to benefit from it; their feathers look healthier, and they seem more energetic. For the price, it’s an amazing value. The freshness and potency go a long way, so even a little bit delivers results. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a clean, nutrient-rich, and beautifully versatile ingredient that works in everything from daily meals to animal care.

Recommend
My wife and I have tried many other types of Wasabi Powder and we keep coming back to this one. Highly recommend great consistency and taste.

Mild flavour, intense colour
I accidentally dumped a ton of this into my food n the flavour was still meh, but the colour was intense. I don't wanna stir things up but I'm suspicious that it's not 100% tumeric.

No wasabi flavor, zero spicy kick, and very grainy "powder"
I usually don't write product review, but felt obligated to do one on this so that other shoppers can avoid the pitfall. I have bought many different brands of wasabi powder. This one (Soeos Wasabi Powder AAA grade) is the worst. It's very grainy, unlike other wasabi powder. The worst part is that it has no wasabi flavor or its spicy kick. Don't waste your money. Looking at other positive reviews, wondered if I received a fake. I carefully examined the packaging exterior, but it looks exactly the same as the images posted on Amazon. The product is sold by the "Soeos Store" (same name as the Wasabi brand). If they care about the reputation of their products, I hope they would follow up. Will provide update in case that happens.

Perfect to have on hand for a large group.
We have a lot of gatherings with appetizers and entrees that use wasabi, so the small cans they offer at the supermarket don't last nor are cost effective for our needs. This can will last for a good number of gatherings and allow me to use it in my recipes when I want to spice up the dish a little more. Makes a great wasabi paste for sushi and seared fish dishes as well as in sauces for many different dishes. Great price, great product. :)

Doesn't clear sinuses the way it should
It definitely isn't as hot as I would have expected to be. Very mild and not a whole lot of flavor. I was disappointed because I love good Wasabi.

This is a really great wasabi!
Some of the reviews make me laugh :) when you buy any wasabi, you’re lucky if it contains even 1% wasabi root. Most of the others don’t even contain any, they’re solely mustard and horseradish with colour and cornstarch. In fact, if you think you’re getting ANY real wasabi root when you go out for sushi you’re very likely mistaken. There is so much waste in restaurants that they’re almost guaranteed to use the powder that doesn’t contain any at all. Real wasabi is extremely expensive, it’s not easy to grow and grows very slowly. It’s also actually very difficult to cultivate. So this is nice because it does contain some, and at a fabulous price for this size of tin. To address the heat, if you mix it and let it sit the heat will grow stronger. But my eyes usually water a bit as soon as I start to mix it lol. This brand is plenty hot! And that’s coming from someone with a high heat tolerance. I like to mix myself up a little batch and keep it in the fridge so it’s ready to go. And the tin doesn’t have any instructions probably because it’s also what the restaurants use and they already know how to prepare it! But it’s not difficult to make, just add water until you reach a consistency you like. Start with 1:1 and adjust from there! With this particular brand I find exactly 1:1 to be perfect. I don’t use cold water, I use room temp or even slightly warm, I find this helps the powder to mix really well with the water. I just use a fork and whip it for a minute. Any dried root is going to have a bit of a grainy texture right off the hop. Which is another reason why it needs to sit for a bit, the dried root will soften with the water and the texture will be a lot smoother. This really doesn’t deserve the poor reviews because a little research would have cleared up all the confusion. It’s fun to learn about something you enjoy! It makes you smarter, too ;-) This is a really nice wasabi powder and I will definitely be buying it again. It’s a huge tin compared to most others but I’ll go through it quickly enough, it’s delicious in so many things. Try some on your Mac and cheese! I can’t have it without no. It’s also really nice on potato’s, or even mixed into a salad dressing with a little acid and oil of your choice. But I always like it best when it’s prepared ahead of time. The flavour and heat get a chance to really come out. Hope this helps! someone!

Full of dangerous food dyes, no wasabi.
Multiple studies have found Yellow 5 to cause hives and asthma symptoms. The three dyes most consumed–Red 40, Yellow 5 and Yellow 6–are the dyes most likely to cause systemic allergic reactions. These same dyes also contain the cancer-causing contaminants Benzidine, 4-aminobiphenyl and 4-aminoazobenzene. After three hours of exposure, yellow 5 caused damage to human white blood cells in every concentration tested and unable to repair themselves, making tumor growth and diseases like cancer more likely. This is one of the ingredients used in this product, and the danger unmentioned. Find an alternative.

Restaurant quality at an excellent price
Great value, as good as any served in any sushi restaurant. My Japanese-Canadian wife & fisherman's daughter rates this an expert 5/5.
