Helps with back hip pain
Love this ball. I do everything on this ball including exercise, stretching, working, eating and meditating. I continually find new things to do with the ball. It's very versatile for fitness. It relieved back/hip pain. I work at home and sitting in a chair all day makes me stiff. I feel looser after my shift with this. You can works upper body mid and lower.

great for at home strenghtening and flexibility workouts
Perfect height for a balance ball, comfortable to use for posture and on the floor excercises for shoulder and back, ball is durable and easy to use. Great, no odor, comes with a pump and spare air plugs, would buy again.

Nice and sturdy so far worried about the plug popping out
When I first opened the box it appeared to be small just like my other ball but it's a tad bit bigger. Only problem is I wish the plug went down a little further for security

Work out help!
This ball is made of quality material and does not leak! It seems to be good quality compared to one I had years ago.

How I sized my ball and why I LOVE it
I'm in love! I can't believe I didn't get one of these 10 years ago!!! First, I watched some of the ball exercise videos on YouTube, just to get a feel for what you could do with the ball as I got into better shape. In one video, the woman showed warmups sitting on the ball, and her thighs were at a 90 degree angle to the ground. I took out my tape measure and measured how long 65cm, 55cm, 75cm were compared to my pants inseam to get an idea of how big the ball is inflated. Keeping in mind that the ball will not be fully inflated (60cm), and will squish down when sat on or used, I figured that the 65cm ball would be the ideal for my 5'6" frame with a 75cm inseam. PERFECT size! When sitting on it fully inflated, my legs are at a perfect right angle to the ground. I am using it instead of my desk chair. The first day was awful. Like most people, I slouch in my chair, and despite periodically reminding myself about posture, if I'm busy doing something, I end up slouched like a bag til I jerk myself up and remind myself of my posture again. Sitting on the ball makes this reminder easy. I am NOT in great physical shape, so balancing on a ball all day long at my desk was painful and hard to do. My muscles ached, and I couldn't find my bed fast enough. But the 2nd day, it was easier, and now, the 3rd day, I'm almost used to it. Just like that, I can see and feel my core tightening and there were several surprising side effects. I got up from my desk a lot to move around. Sitting isn't 'easy', so standing and walking was just as viable an alternative. This forced me to move nonstop all day, yet never stressed me out. It is proving to be a gentle building of my very out of shape endurance. Other side affect was the effect on my vision. I was used to looking at my monitors all day from exactly the same height. So when I stood up, I sometimes would get dizzy from the change and adjustment. Well sitting on the ball, I sometimes bounce and 'march', which makes my vision jar up and down. This was a weird effect the first day, and made me a little dizzy, but now, 3 days later, my actual balance has improved overall too. Did I mention I LOVE this ball? I let my son, who's way more physically fit than I am, try it, and he gave up after 10 minutes, so maybe it's not for everyone. He said watching videos while bouncing around a bit messed with his eyes. That's exactly the effect I had, which is why I kept doing it. My brain adjusted and that's exactly why my balance improved. My first day was TORTURE, but I was determined to get more exercise while sitting at my desk turning into a vegetable. I figure if I use this as a desk chair for a couple of weeks, I will build up enough core and strengthen my muscles enough to try the video exercises. Not there yet, but I can see it happening. The ball itself seems very durable, but if I had to buy a new one every week, I'd consider it well worth doing, because it's a whole lot cheaper than a gym. But it looks like it's going to be fine for a long time. It was hard to pump up the first time (pump included in box), and really hard to get the pin back out when you want to top it off the 2nd time (but they included 3 cap pins in the box). I bought this ball, having never seen one in person before. I think everyone should get one, these things might single handedly cure overweight America if everyone were forced to use them as chairs!! Helpful my comment so I know people actually read it please!

The Best Balance Ball I Know
I bought this years and years ago; I still have it and it's still in awesome condition. And, let me tell you, it has not had a gentle life. It's been through multiple moves; it's been used for vigorous working out (and has witnessed me eating it hard when I thought I could do a push-up on it); it was my lone piece of a furniture for a spell; it's been bounced on repeatedly during salt water flushes; it's had animals try and bite through it... this balance ball has had a great life, and it seems immortal because no matter what I do to it, it seems fine. As a side note, we bought the same exact kind of ball from Walmart (so whatever their workout brand is) because we needed a second one, but it was a much thinner material, it smelled super weird for its entire life (until I popped it with a pair of scissors out of vengeance), it collected our pet's fur constantly, and it peeled paint from the wall when it leaned against it too long. So in comparison? This really is the best balance ball I know. Durable? You bet. Comfortable? So, so much. Good for a variety of needs? Absolutely. I ended up buying one for my mom when she was diagnosed with MS because it was so gentle on her body; on the flip-side I've spent hours and hours trying to sit cross-legged on it to improve my balance/because it's a very impressive party trick. Even with heavy use, over the course of several years I've only had to refill it a handful of times and doing so was super easy. Less than three those Gaiam products; you really do get what you pay for.

The perfect desk chair--but buy 75cm if you are using it for that!
This is my new desk chair and I love it. Use it all the time. If you are using this as your desk chair: BUY THE BIG 75CM ONE! I read about the sizing, and since I am just over 5' tall, I bought a smaller ball. I think it would have been a good size to use while working out, but it was way too short for my desk. So buy a 75cm one if you are using it as a desk chair. Due to my job, I'm on the computer all the time and I was having a lot of back and neck pain. Using this ball as a chair has helped me eliminate most of that pain. It keeps me more aware of my seated posture, and I since it moves around I am not straining the same little muscles for hours straight. I highly suggest it if you have a desk job and have back pain. The ball is made from high quality plastic or rubber (whatever it is). It is very well made. When I first got it, I did have to re-inflate it a few times, probably because it was being stretched out for the first time. Now it rarely needs any reinflating, and if it does it's just a few pumps. The hand-pump included works just fine too. It's sturdy and made with hard plastic. I haven't tried the workout CD it came with, since I mostly just use it for sitting on, so that did not factor into my review.

Love the size guide tape
Great product! Within about 20 minutes, I was able to inflate to about 80% with a battery-powered air pump, then finished the inflation with the hand pump included in the package. The sizing guide tape included in the package is very helpful and prevents over-inflation. The material is grippy and feels sturdy.
