Have you given up on spiritual awakening? The truth is walking the spiritual path is not easy. If we are being totally honest, true spiritual awakening requires conscious intent (and follow-through) every day, and that means meditation - not once a week, not once every other day, but daily. But let's face it, meditation is not always easy for people who live fast-paced, stressful lives. We are often tired, easily distracted, and sometimes just plain bored during our meditation sessions. We may find that our mind jumps back and forth from the past and the future, thinking about what she said or he did and what we would say or do if we had a do-over. We may find that we fidget and squirm and sometimes even cut our meditation sessions short. Sometimes we fall asleep only to be awakened by the drool that is slipping down our chin - not the kind of awakening we were aiming for. You're human and these experiences are normal. But you need not, nor should you give up on meditation. In all likelihood, you just need a few minor adjustments to your approach or a fresh perspective on meditation to break you out of a rut. You see, meditation (and spiritual awakening) can be likened to a golf swing. You could have 96% of the elements in place, but if you are holding the club incorrectly, you're going to play like a novice. A simple correction to your grip might be all that you need to play golf like a pro. The very same is true of meditation and spiritual awakening. Subtle changes offer huge impacts. Inspirience: Meditation Unbound offers subtle, simple changes that will have a profoundly positive impact on your meditations and your life. But that's not all. Inspirience also offers fresh, simple methods of meditation that, should you choose to employ them, blend seamlessly with your daily life, so that meditation becomes your lived reality, not just something you do on the mat. But regardless of the method that you practice, the principles that you will learn through Inspirience are flexible and will apply to and greatly enhance your current practice. But why should you listen to Haight? Richard L Haight is the author of the bestselling title, The Unbound Soul , recently named "One of the best consciousness books of all time" by BookAuthority. For a self-published book to receive such high recognition is an incredibly rare honor, and it is a testimony to the depth of understanding that Haight has to offer. What you will learn through Inspirience will be fresh and incredibly practical. It has to be, for it is born of a life of samurai training in Japan at the highest levels, where one must be perfectly calm and present under the most extreme of circumstances. From such intense training, Haight refined and distilled the most effective meditation and awareness methods that are meant to be applied to daily life, while walking, talking, working, running, swimming, and of course, while sitting in silence. You needn't travel to Japan or swing a sword to learn and master the methods that Haight shares, for they are simple, flexible, and easily practiced by anyone of any background or level of meditation experience. "Astonishingly practical, simple meditation techniques without dogma." "He gets us to the point where we can be comfortable with our inner space, who we are and confront aspects of the self that we don't like." "He provides clear, simple yet profound guidelines on conscious living, meditation, and the path as one goes about daily living." If you are looking for a practical path to daily spiritual awakening, a path that leads to vibrant presence throughout your life regardless of where you are or what you are doing, Inspirience is the book for you. Review: Truly Inspiring! - Loved this book by Richard where he shares his life's journey, his spiritual journey, with us. Richard gets deep into the concept of Meditation and what it actually is. He then slowly builds the base of our knowledge in this arena by covering topics such as Awareness, Mental Rebellion, Reprogramming and the Conscience. Through examples from his own life and practical exercises we're given a roadmap that we can follow towards our own awakening. I liked the following quotes from the book, and there are many more like this... "Our "perception" of Isness is limited by the depth of inspirience. At a shallow level, Isness is just what is, which is to say, it is exactly the experience of life in the moment. It is just immediacy and aliveness." "Many teachings of nonduality stop at immediacy, and thus disregard anything more as being illusory, nonsensical." I was inspired to deepen my journey in a simpler but profound way. I find his new book to be astonishingly practical, leading the reader through simple meditation techniques without dogma, without unattainable requirements of countless hours of practice and study. All that is asked is that we bring ourselves fully to each practice and to be aware of the jewels that unfold, whatever they may be. In an age of countless spiritual teachers and teachings, it is refreshing to find individuals who are committed to merely serving as guideposts for the rest of us to unfold what is already within.

Richard Haight has done it again - "Inspirience" is an outstanding sequel to "The Unbound Soul" and a stand alone guide as well. He provides clear, simple yet profound guidelines on conscious living, meditation and the path as one goes about daily living. These two books are treasure chests and have made such a difference in my life. I have spent many years meditating, reading and going on retreats and he brings a fresh, incisive approach that somehow brings it all together. Thankyou Richard.

Useful, fun, and spiritually freeing
I rarely review authors Iโm unfamiliar with, especially when it comes to works of nonfiction pertaining to spiritual awakening. I made an exception with Richard Haightโs INSPIRIENCE: MEDITATION UNBOUND, and Iโm glad I did. His book is a short, easy, fun read. To say that I find this book highly useful and refreshing would be an understatement. I like how he has come to all these meditations on his own, through personal exploration and after years of superhuman determination to bring a meditation experience he had when he was only sixteen back into his life. I love how many of the meditations, such as the observation meditation and the appreciation meditation, can be practiced with open eyes and during daily activities. The โreordering through meditationโ method can get your desk uncluttered, your bills paid, your entire house cleaned, and virtually any chore done that comes to your field of attention while practicing the appreciation meditation. Now thatโs what I call useful! Mr. Haight has a talent for explaining exercises of a very subtleโand at times transcendentalโnature in a clear and simple manner. And the martial arts angle is super cool. Even if youโve never seen the inside of a dojo (or donโt know what a dojo is), Iโm confident youโll find the stories about his experiences in Japan with his sensei (teacher) and his experiences as a martial arts teacher himself both fascinating and informative. I love how he uses the body and all five senses to transcend both. Transparent Meditation is my personal favorite. However because it requires both an investment in time (one-two hours) while lying down, unlike all the other meditations, I havenโt had a chance yet to give this one a try. I plan to, however, the moment the opportunity arises. This meditation transcend the limits of proprioception (the mental perception of your body). However, there is no summary of the main points, or at least of the meditations, anywhere to be found in the book. To be fair to the author, many nonfiction writers donโt offer quick reference summaries, leaving it up to the reader to highlight the important sections. It is a tribute and a testimony the value of INSPIRIENCE: MEDITATION UNBOUND that I spent the better part of two hours taking notes and summarizing the entire book (especially the meditations) so that I can reference them whenever I want. I feel that Mr. Haight has a lot to offer the world with his meditations and his approach to spirituality. INSPIRIENCE: MEDITATION UNBOUND provides a fresh and effective way for people who relate closely to their senses and their body, as well as people who are more cerebral but wish to step outside of their thinking using a physical/sensory approach, to experience freedom from the limitations of the perceived mind and the body, and live what Mr. Haight refers to as the inspirience of Isness.

Spiritual awakening
I enjoyed that this book is written more like a memoir than a nonfiction guide. The author makes the book interesting and engaging the whole time. Definitely one of the best books on learning to meditate and learning about meditation itself. I read the book in one day and will be checking out other books from this author.

Was not expecting a memoir
I was very bored with this book. Truth is I was moved by the wonderful reviews. Rather proof reading the objective. Please do not hold anything against the Author or the Technique or the flow of book. It was very bumpy in the beginning to gain my interest. We all have an Idea of what inspires us. I read, I appreciate the author but just found the book nonappealing.

A Must Read.
I had the pleasure of reading Richard's book, Inspirience Meditation Unbound before it was published. It was easy to read and so informative. It felt like the liberation of meditation from "the box" it's been kept in for ages. This Book will open up a new world to those that have wanted to meditate but, felt they couldn't or weren't getting what they needed from it. Thanks to Richard's experiences, my meditation sessions are forever more gratifying for me. This is a must-read book, a book you will want to make a part of your spiritual library. Who really wants to sleep through life?

Wonderful inspirational!
Meditation unbound, that's what the book is all about. The author of "Inspirience" Richard L Haight has achieved what many other books about meditation come short with, giving the reader a thorough insight into the many aspects of meditation. The authors first hand experience in mediation combined with his passion and compassion makes this book a gem in its genre. His writing is honest and his advice provides concrete direction for anybody interested in mediation.
