Sun Cap Fishing Hat Baseball Cap with Face Neck Cover Flap

I have purchased two of these. The first one I use at home when I'm on my tractor so I can wear my hearing protection without issue. It keeps the sun off my neck and is lightweight. The best thing is that is has a plastic bill so you can just toss it in the washer to get all the dirt and sunscreen off. I bought another for work because it worked so well. It is great at work when I walk in the over-the-head brush, don't have to worry about a wide brim fitting through. And the face pieces keeps me from inhaling the mosquitos, yellow flies, and love bugs.

Really love this hat! I use it daily--its a very comfortable face covering--but I have also used it for outdoor activities. It's great sun protection for your head, neck and face, it keeps the gnats out of your face, dunk it in water to help stay cool, remove the front or back panels as needed, use the chin strap on windy days or remove it when not needed, and its very adjustable to fit both large and small heads. The mesh is closely woven and has a kind of double-sided layer to it--the fabric on the outside of the mesh panels has a looser knit, and the fabric inside is more tightly woven--but it's still breathable. It stays dry, it's super easy to wash, it's tolerable to wear when you're outside, and the nose piece keeps the mask part from getting in the way and obstructing my vision or fogging my glasses. The quality is good for the price paid. I think this has been a great investment for the current pandemic situation and for any future outdoor activities where I might need something like this.

Very nice hat for kayak fishing in the hot summer sun. The hat material is lightweight and airy but still keeps the sun out. The adjustable headband sits comfortably and doesn't apply too much pressure. The rear flap is easy on, easy off, and is longer than most so it keeps the neck sunburn-free. The face-covering is also easy on, easy off, and works great at keeping those pesky gnats out of your face. I'm happy with the purchase.

So I drive a big truck for work all day 5 days a week. Always in the sun. I'm very light skinned and started getting redness (sun burns) in my cheek area a lot. No matter how much sunscreen or which fancy sunscreen I used I'd still be burnt a little and it was annoying. I then bought this and it has been a game changer! It has a wire on the nose area that you can adjust and mold it to how exactly you want it to fit. Super easy and comfy to wear. Very high quality and it keeps me completely cool and covered! I love it. I am no longer Sun burned anymore. It's been amazing. Couldn't have asked for anything better! Good material too that is a cool dri fit type material. If you're outside alot and wanna feel better and covered then this is the one you need!

I just received this USHAKE Sun Cap. Though I haven't had the chance to use it on a very hot and sunny summer day, its attention to detail in design is quite impressive and exceeds my expectations. On top of the SPF 50 baseball cap with protective flaps, which is exactly what I am looking for, these features are my favorites: 1) No obnoxious logo; 2) The hat can be secured with a detachable string. This is very useful for a hat in windy environment; 3) The neck and face protector can be removed, turning the cap into a normal baseball cap; 4) The neck protector has snaps to close at the front, which ensures that both the neck and face are securely wrapped by the SPF fabric. 5) Last but not least, this hat even manages to maintain an aesthetically composed look on you however you wear it. kudos for thinking of everything in this hat's design!

I owe this guys review for awhile now. I came up with so many reasons to have it, I can't even count them all. It protects me from getting sunburn, or have bad skin due to too much sunscreen. It provides hygiene for my ears when we use communal radio headsets at work. It prevents my coworkers from seeing me yawning on a boring race day, or making weird face while relaxing my jaw during a stressful day lol. Since first I bought the cap I've ordered another one, and I had one replaced easily when one of the buttons broke. I volunteer as a flag marshal in Florida and I needed this hat desperately as soon as I started. I still end up using sunscreen in three spots: between my eyebrows and in temple areas, but it's still much much better than having it to use all over my face and reapply all day long. I've been asked a hundred times by racetrack photographers, other flag marshal and racing staff where did I get this. I sent them all here. The customer service is great as well. Hands down this is the best thing I ever bought on amazon! When I think of improvement, I would suggest to add an extra one or two face flaps, as the part that I'm breathing in I'd like to have fresh for the next day. That's why I bought a second cap, so I can have a spare face flap. I go through two or three, depend on how long is the race weekend. And for the other flap, the neck flap - the fact that I can clip it under my chin on a windy day makes this cap as perfect as it gets! Everything is very well thought through and it's easy to breathe even when neck flap is clipped together.

I liked the design and that is light, but after around 3 months of continuous use (Used daily in a long trip), the area where the cord attachment got loose, and then started splitting around that area. I bought a similar one but from another brand, which seems like a similar product. For the price, they serve their purpose, but don't expect them to last a lifetime.

When I got this I didn't even remember it came with a face covering part. But it was attached, so I tried it. Then I fastened all the buttons. Then I looked ridiculous. But I could breath very easily. I could turn my head without anything sliding anywhere. I could press the metal wire around my nose and it contoured very well to my face. I decided to wear it outside doing yard work in the evening and it was Awesome! The mosquitoes are horrible in my area this year and still managed to find the skin around my eyes a few times, but I didn't get any bites on the rest of my face or neck. This is way better than soaking everything in deet and having to shower before bed. Right now with all the face covering rules everywhere this would still be out of place, but not by much. I imagine as winter comes on I'll be wearing this every time I go out. The only thing I think would be better is if the fabric was a little less breathable. I'm afraid it's not filtering the particles as much as would be ideal. I know it's not made for that. But it easily could be just by choosing a different fabric for the front flap. In fact I might just sew up a from flap piece and put a wire and velcro on it to have for the purpose. The quality of the construction on everything is also quite good. The hat is adjustable with a strap in back. The snaps all seem like they will last a while. The sewing is well done.
