Greetings, Consult the manual that came with the camera. If a charging transformer is an optional accessory, it should provide that voltage requirement and amp rating. It would be best to order the optional charger from the manufacturer of the camera. Otherwise, to use the Excelity BE SURE the voltage rating is the same as the recommended charger for the camera. As long as the amperage is less than the Excelity, it will be fine.

Will it work with Nix X12D photo frame for a replacement cord?

I really don’t know I have it on a baby monitor and it has several plugs to choose from

It will work for any device that requires a 5 volt, 1 amp power source. Most laptops require more than 1 amp. I have two older laptops, and in both cases I replaced the OEM chargers with chargers that offer variable amps. Check your laptop to see what your power requirements are. There should be replacements fitting those specs online at amazon.com.

Lasting Quality.

Consider this is a basic power supply, I feel like it should be cheaper. It works though. Doesn't stand up to power surges well (obviously), but it does exactly what I expect.

While I appreciate that it works on my baby monitor, the two that I bought have both failed. As I don’t want to buy a whole new monitor I’m buying it again but I’m really not happy about it.
