Works so well!!
Works so well!! My plants survived 3 weeks alone, such a great idea

Brilliant!
I was skeptical at first but this really is a game changer. It works! I used this to water my house plants for two weeks when on holiday including chillies and it kept them alive. I strongly suggest you trial it for a week or so if you intend to use it whilst away on holiday to get the rate of water transfer right.

Keeps the plants well-watered
Bought these self-watering wick cords to put into our pots, whilst we were away on holiday for a week. Weather was very warm, but a good water before we went and the addition of the wick cords; which you can cut to any length needed; to our pots/troughs from a trug, placed above the pots/plants level and secured with a stone/small piece of garden wire (used as a bracket in the pots) was all that was required. Worked a treat and would recommend it to anyone that has a lot of pots and wants inexpensive self watering device for the odd occasion. EXCELLENT!!!!

Works well - amazing
This worked amazingly well. Went away for a week in July and it was a hot dry week - came home and all plants looked good, I was dubious about this, but it works!

It wicks water as promised but in surprising and hard to manage ways. HARD TO USE!
It does what it says on the tin. But leave plenty of time to adjust your setup for speed, inclination, spills, and other details. It is very finicky, but the cord does what it says really well! It is incredibly hard to install and minor mistakes imply complete failure (water leaks, drowed plats, etc.) I give 3 stars because how hard it is to use, and how misleading is the information about installation.

Happy
Does what it says on the tin as they say. Really helpful instructions come with the cord and also the reviews from people on the Amazon site. Iโve only tried it out with one indoor plant so far but really wanted it to water my tomatoes in my garden trough. So far Iโve been pleased with it but it is a case of trying it out first to get it just right

I was sceptical, but now I am a believer
Was a bit sceptical that such a cheap, simple solution would work. But it most certainly did. The photo shows two 50 litre containers, each connected to about 10 plants. Each container delivered about 5 litres a day. We came back from 6 days of heatwave to find every plant perfectly watered. They come with excellent instructions, although some of the English is entertaining. Tips for success: 1) Give yourself a few days to get the rate of water delivery right. There are quite a few different things you can do, all spelled out in the instructions. It took us three days of trial and error. 2) Try to keep the cords as straight as possible between water source and plant. If there is too much bowing, the water will drip onto the floor and never make it to the plants. 3) Buy more than you think you need. It is so cheap anyway. More cord on the ground around the plant keeps the cord from the water straighter. How deep you let the cord go into the water affects how much water is delivered.

Useful but needs time to adjust flow.
Very useful but leave yourself some time to adjust the flow as it takes a few days to get it correct otherwise you will end up with flooded plants as it's surprising how much will come out in a day, so you need to keep adding knots until it is right for that plant.

Not as per picture
Picture shown looks as if the product is of synthetic material, but the product delivered is of cotton

Ok for small pots.
Will suck up water as advertised, however does not soak the cord over its entire length. It is only wet and dripping water at the tip. Will need additional wicks for each plant in the one pot.

Not Polyester
I bought this specifically because it's listed as polyester. It's cotton, which will rot.
