Silent, just as advertised.
I needed a silent mouse for my laptop because I didn't want to disturb others in quiet settings (i.e. classroom, library) when I'm using it. The mouse might feel cheap in some aspects but it's a 13 dollar mouse. Using it actually feels pretty nice. It has a good studded texture on the buttons and works pretty smoothly. If you want to play video games in lecture without being obnoxious, get this thing. All the buttons are extremely quiet. Somebody else described this as someone lightly tapping the skin of their fingers on a wood desk; I find that statement accurate. Others were complaining about the back and forward buttons + the scroll wheel not being silent; I think that may have been an old model because the one I got is completely silent. EDIT: Like I said, it's a 13 dollar mouse. With about two years of constant use (for both workstation and gaming applications), I've managed to wear it down and now the left and right mouse buttons either fail to register or end up double-clicking more often than not. The scroll wheel has the same fault as the mouse buttons, even after disassembling the mouse and cleaning it. In the end, it was a nice mouse with poor longevity.

Honestly, unless you're a hard user, buy this!
I'll admit, I had low expectations for this mouse due to price. I bought it as a quick mouse to toss into my laptop bag when I travel, but I will tell you that it's the quietest mouse I've ever owned and just as good as most of the expensive gaming mice that I've had over the years... it has since replaced my main wired mouse at home as a result. Battery life is impressive, but I haven't had to replace them yet so the full term will be TBD. Sensitivity once the mouse is "on" is great! They go into standby after about 20 minutes and require a click before they become active, but for the price they're a huge bargain!

A fine "silent partner" for my daily office work
This is a great mouse for use in an office environment. The left and right click buttons are pretty much completely silent. While the wheel and side buttons are not, they're still quiet enough to not be obtrusive. The side buttons are mapped to browser forward and back by default, even on macOS, which is where I'm using mine. I can't comment on battery life at this time, but the overall build quality seems decent enough for the price. I tried using the mouse for gaming, but the limited DPI adjustment and somewhat sluggish response make it suitable only for very casual titles. That being said, I can't knock it for this because it's not advertised as such. The shape isn't the most ergonomic either, but I haven't experienced any hand or arm pain after using it for nearly eight hours per day for the last several weeks. So far, this is proving to be a solid mouse for the price and something I would absolutely recommend for non-gamers.

Almost perfect but fingers drag and sometimes erratic
I grabbed this and 2 other "silent click" mice to test. The first was https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VJXZLG9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 because it was on another site's list as one of the best silent mice. I returned it 5 minutes later as it's just a regular mouse. Maybe even louder than the average one. Emospeak (this product) was the second. The top is a kind of rubber that feels nice and smooth. I tried it on a mousepad and desktop wood and both worked equally fine. It is incredibly quiet, most silent of any I tried and even the mouse wheel is pretty quiet (not silent but not far from it, especially compared to some others.) The side buttons are really loud but I rarely use them so it wasn't an issue. The main problems are that the right side curves in so my ring and pinky fingers dragged and it would annoy me now and then. The more I noticed it the more it annoyed me. The other issue is that it's not uncommon for the connection to get iffy and the cursor to zip around. It wasn't often but it was enough that I decided to try a different mouse to compare before returning this one. The third was https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-FOME-Ergonomic-Right-handed-Noiseless/dp/B07542NDWN/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_sims?ie=UTF8 well actually it was https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01565RLGY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 but good luck ever getting that one as buying it will only get you the former no matter how many replacements you get. Anyway, the knock-off version is still pretty good, quiet, the mouse wheel is a louder but not bad, side buttons are a little quieter and not as jarring, and the right has a placement for your last two fingers so it's more comfortable. The feel is a kind of soft plastic. I was pretty set to pick this one but near a week after using it the clicks became louder -- not loud, but louder. I figured they would get louder over time but it beginning after a week is worrisome. For an example of the noise increase, the emospeak makes no sound when my head is next to it and im not wearing headphones, this one makes noise when I'm not wearing headphones, but I can't hear it with an over-ear headset (that I'm usually using) on. This also doesn't have a connection issue of the cursor zipping frantically for a second and glides better. I ended up keeping the fome mouse but both are good and I'd recommend either.
