Many topics covered are on the board. I would classify this as a high yield review book. Some answers are incorrect, but most people should be able to catch those mistakes. Review: It was useless. This book has many wrong answers and not up to date with the current guidelines. It seems that it was written by some fellows or by faculties who are not keeping up with the current cardiology literature.

Answers to questions are incorrectly labelled
What type of cardiology book published by the Cleveland clinic has multiple mistakes in its editing? Poor quality which reflects poor attending to detail which I hope does not reflect on how well the questions relate to the actual board exam.

In general the questions are good, but a lot of them are based on outdated guidelines (like bicuspid valve surgery with aortic aneurysms recommended at 5 cm rather than 5.5). I purchased this based on the most recent copyright date being 2015, thinking they'd have updated for the new recs, but this isn't the case. Keeping that in mind though, the majority of the questions are still good and the explanations are helpful in teaching concepts. This should NOT be your only source of review questions however. Update: The CAD section is just GARBAGE. So many of the questions have the wrong answer listed, contradicting the explanation. It's like there was no review of the section whatsoever.
