Good to have a joint Alarm
I found this Alarm easy to fit and put up on the ceiling. Quality seems good. So convenient to have a joint Alarm and the fact the battery lasts approx 10 years. Instructions easy to read and follow. Difference in bleeps for Smoke and Carbon Monoxide. Easy to test by a push button. Very happy with my purchase.

Easy to fit smoke and CO detector
There are still not too many combined smoke and carbon monoxide detectors out there. These are reasonably priced, look good and are quick and easy to fit. Come with a built-in 10 year battery. Only watch-point is that the green LED that flashes every so often to show it is healthy is quite bright and may not be what you want in a bedroom if you are fitting one there.

Does the job
to install light is always flashing so I assume we’re protected,arrived on time , most importantly we have peace of mind . A bit on the expensive side perhaps . Battery life years and no need to replace .

Easy to fit, cannot comment on detection efficiency.
Easy enough to fit, though I had to alter the back plate with new holes. As there was a single socket box with mains wiring connections behind the old smoke alarm I needed to increase the new back plate fixing holes pitch to be clear of that socket box. The smoke and carbon monoxide alarm flashes green every 40 seconds to show it is working correctly. This flash is quite bright when it is in a dark area and it cannot be adjusted or turned off. I cannot comment on the efficiency of detection - and I never want!

Won’t last 10 years. Dead in just under 26 months. Fire Angle won’t honour the warranty.
Failed after 2 years and 4 months. Amber light flashing end of life warning. Asked for a replacement and provided proof of purchase. Warranty denied as bought on Amazon through a ‘third party’ see below: Based on the proof of purchase you have provided, unfortunately, the warranty does not apply. The unit was purchased on Amazon UK but sold by a third party seller " Desire Deals UK" which we do not cover, I am afraid. Our products purchased on Amazon will only be covered by the warranty when they are sold by Safelincs, Amazon or FireAngel Technology. So 10 year warranty useless to me.
