Very tasty, good quality, but a little expensive

These are my favorite meat snack! I have a beef allergy and it’s so hard to find meat snacks that don’t have beef in them. These are so tasty, texture is not dry at all and the price is actually very good compared to buying them in singles at Whole Foods. Will be buying these again.

These Bison Bacon Cranberry bars are delicious! The first one was a little of an acquired taste for me but quickly turned into a delectable treat. The reason 4 less than 5 stars is the cost and size. They are much smaller than I thought they would be and expensive for the size but I really do like them. They have to remain a special occasion gift request for the price unfortunately.

Excellent protein boost, and convenient to keep on you when you need it! Umcured, so ot d is esnt trigger my migraines as products like this usually do. Unusual taste, but not bad at all - just something new :) A little bit expensive (for me at least) but worth it. Will buy again!

They were wonderful! Love ❤️ them as a snack or when the hunger pains get you. I had Bison and cranberry. I was an original investor in the TANKA BRAND. Loved them ❤️ THESE ARE GREAT! TRY THEM!

I put off taking time to write this review for a couple of months but now I have to take time to say a few things because every time I eat one of these concoctions I get mad about the way they adulterated an otherwise excellent source of animal protein. First, thank you for sourcing 100% grass fed bison. We appreciate the thought but secondly..........what's the reason for adding all the carbohydrates??????? I mean look at the numbers!! Protein 7g, Total fat 8g but carbs....get ready for this......8 grams of added sugar in the form of brown sugar and cranberries and apple juice concentrate. Why? Are they making doughnuts? Or an imitation Snickers bar? From a marketing perspective I think they made a wrong guess by making these taste like one of those Slim JIm sticks that we see so often in gas station counters. Maybe they think that all Americans want to be sucking sugar all day long so they figured (incorrectly) that if they made a truly natural product out of 100% grass fed bison and did not make it taste like a sugar fix that it would not sell. I say they got it all wrong, but sadly......maybe they are actually right. If you're aiming for Nutritional Ketosis or even if you're just counting calories or carbs for maintaining lower A1C then, please be advised that there are better products out there but maybe not in the snacks and candy category. To end this rant I am asking Epic to please consider making a truly high quality "bar" without the sugar fix. And maybe aim it toward people who understand that every carbohydrate adds to the pile and those of us (who are growing in numbers) that do not want another source of sweets to be sneaked into an otherwise superb natural food. Finally, these things taste awful....I bought a Slim Jim once in desperation and I'll never forget the sticky taste. Well these things have a very familiar taste to them. I'm not saying these will damage your heart or your kidneys or jack up your glucose to 150 (assuming you are not diabetic and of course, if you are diabetic these are strictly off limits because of the simple sugars which are included in each bar) It's like eating a bite of a candy bar but if that's your normal snack then these might satisfy your need and minimize the total carb intake compared to a Cliff Bar or all the similar junk that has tons of added high glycemic sugars. And make no mistake folks..........sugar is not a health food when it comes in the form of sugar soaked cranberries, brown sugar and apple juice concentrate. It's still sugar and sugar is the problem with all those waist lines you see at Wally World.

Love them. Very convenient when traveling, especially when you need to follow The Autoimmune protocol! :) Thanks! UPDATE: Like I said, still love the Epic bars, BUT the price has risen ridiculously. These were about 10 GBP per 1.5 oz when I bought it. Now it's always between 30-50 GBP. Way too much.
