I use my Streamlight Stinger every day. My battery is usually totally discharged every day. I keep 2 batteries so that I can change out during the day because charging takes a couple of hours. The battery will last about 45 minutes in the light when continuously on. That may not sound like much but these lights are ridiculously bright. After a few minutes it will be hot enough that it's uncomfortable to touch. That's lots of energy to create that much heat. This battery would probably power your cell phone for a year if you could tap into the stored energy. I'm getting about 3 years out of a battery the way I use them. A very good battery for a demanding light.
