I find that there is a lot of waste in using retaine eye drops. can i use it in the morning and then again at night if i cover the cap?

According to ophthalmology professionals (and the box insert) open eye drop vials are intended for one-time use. Reusing a previously open vial risk of eye infection.

Please advise if the box is identical to the one in the picture. retaine on the side, new mgd at the top of the front of the box?

The picture you have is the old retaine box . The new box has retaine on side with mgd under it and complete dry eye relief on top of box. Rest assured this is the exact same product. This product is brand new expires 5 / 2019. The box in picture expires in 2017, their old packaging.
