Okay. :-) This is a long review. For those trying to get pregnant: I used this monitor along with the ClearBlue digital OPK, some cheap LH OPK strips from Amazon (blue box with colorful words about pregnancy), a pocket microscope to track ferning, and a BBT thermometer to track basal temp along with the Period Tracker app (pink flower app) and my FitBit Versa women wellness app section. EACH METHOD MATCHED. Everything down to my predicted ovulation on my tracking apps (was off by a day on both) lined up with an LH surge and peak fertility. I believe this can be trusted to help get pregnant, but do maybe 3-4 cycles—probably by cycle 4 you will be pregnant! For those just trying out tracking methods: This device is a powerful asset to the tools out there now for at home tracking of LH surges and estrogen level increases. I wouldn’t use it by itself because it may read incorrectly or display an error, which would have been EXTREMELY disheartening if I were trying to get pregnant and that was my only testing method—this thing is expensive, BUT THE TEST STICKS ARE ROBBERY. I was dumb and bought mine at CVS because they weren’t in stock anywhere else and I had to test the next morning so I couldn’t order them in time from Amazon—THEY WERE $80! I digress.... Anyway, the monitor stores your info for 6 months then deletes your first month to make room for month 7, so keep that in mind. It was accurate with my other tracking methods but was a little annoying to use because you can only set it up to test ON DAYS 1-4 OF YOUR CYCLE and your testing window of 6 hours CANNOT BE CHANGED ONCE YOU CHOOSE IT. Choose your window wisely and take into account if you sleep in on the weekends, as I missed my window by 30 minutes once and almost missed it a second time. For those wanting it as contraception: I hope this was your ultimate last resort or you’re rolling in dollars, because this thing plus the test sticks are expensive. You would DEFINITELY be better off buying the cheap LH test strips on the market and maybe using 1 or 2 other methods that are free to you (checking cervical position/texture and cervical mucus). Otherwise, this is just another tool to help you keep track of your lady cycle (did I mention it’s expensive...?) and it is wholly unnecessary when condoms and Plan B’s exist. It is nice to have and it has an easy-to-read calendar which makes avoiding your fertile days a breeze, but keep in mind that just because your fertile window has passed, it doesn’t mean you can’t still get pregnant. Use caution when trying NOT to conceive—these products are mostly for those wanting to become pregnant so they aren’t on your side to begin with! Overall it worked for me, I was thrilled with the results and I believe this will help me get pregnant when I am ready. It matched other OPK tests, my saliva ferned in time with the results, and my body temp increased as I approached ovulation and went back to normal after. The test window was a pain though. However, if you use the dip method (essential if you’re using multiple tests) it is potentially less annoying and you probably won’t waste a stick because I used the monitor sticks with the ClearBlue Advanced Digital monitor and they matched. Couldn’t use the Digital sticks with the monitor, though, even though they seem the same. But if you’re out of options except a fertility specialist and the money is worth it to you, GET THIS THING. It worked for me. (33 day cycle, no ovarian issues). I don’t regret buying it, but I also had a very positive first experience with it. It arrived right on time for me to set it up on day 4 of my cycle.

Happy With My Purchase
My husband convinced me to buy this "dumb" monitor (no apps, no wifi connection) and I'm honestly glad that's what we went with in the end. This does the bare minimum needed and it does it perfectly well. We ended up getting pregnant in only three months! Some "downsides" - you cannot change the testing time frame until your next period, but I think that's just a practical need for any fertility testing. It also is annoying to have to wait 5 minutes to see the results, but not too bad. As a warning, I did have trouble getting a steady result the first month I was off birth control. The instruction manual warned that it can take up to two months to get accurate results after stopping birth control. Just something to keep in mind for any fertility testing!

Pregnant After 2 Months of Trying with ClearBlue Fertility Monitor!! It Works, People!
I ordered the Clearblue Fertility Monitor to help me detect my exact ovulation dates. I have uterine fibroids and felt like the phone apps I was using were not as accurate. My OBGYN and primary health visits are always clear: you should have no issue conceiving. After several months of "focused, tracking, monitoring, using apps" trying to conceive (December 2017-May 2018), I researched products, and decided, based upon prior verified reviews of the Clearblue Fertility monitor, that I would order one. I ordered the machine in May 2018, but could not use it because I missed the logging window for my cycle. I used it in June 2018 and did not conceive. I had 5 High days and maybe 2-3 peak days. The process was very easy. You calibrate the machine. Enter your new cycle. Set the time you wish to take the test each day. Take the test daily and wait until the machine gives you your High Days and Peak Days. Then, you enjoy intimacy with your partner on the suggested days. P.S. I suggest that you use a cup when testing versus your urine stream. RESULTS: It is now July 2018, and I am 4 weeks, 3 days pregnant. This monitor works and my hubby and I are so blessed. Our bundle arrives March 2019. If you have a condition like fibroids or have been trying to conceive using phone apps, stop wasting your time and tears. Order this machine and the sticks. Yes, the machine is 100 plus and the sticks are 70ish, but the cost of the products far outweigh the mental and emotional anguish one may feel after months and months of trying. In my case, I was simply missing my peak days. I would never have known this had I not bought the monitor. We are excited. So, good luck to all families trying to conceive. I have several friends who spent thousands on fertility treatments. I wonder if they could have saved their money by simply buying this machine. I am living proof that this machine works. It only took two months using the machine for it to work. Really, the instructions inform users that the machine has to get to know your body. You do the math. I was married in July 2017 and began seriously trying in December 2017. I was unsuccessful for five months. After only two months, I'm not pregnant nearly one year to the date of our wedding. Don't over think this process. Order the machine. READ THE DIRECTIONS. Give it a shot. If it doesn't work, then seek alternative methods. Wishing you all much success!

Definitely need to have sex on peak days....I’m pregnant after 3 cycles.
I’m 37 and it took me 3 months to get pregnant. I already have a 5 year old. I recently suffered a stillbirth at 23 weeks (back in April 2017) and after trying to get pregnant in August with no luck, figured I would go back to Clearblue for help via their fertility monitor. To get pregnant with my 5 year old, I used this monitor (older version) and got pregnant on the second cycle. With my current pregnancy, I believe it took 3 cycles to get pregnant because the previous 2 cycles I did not have sex on the peak days. The cycle I got pregnant, had sex on the first peak day. My advice to couples is that this monitor is a good tool to have but ensure you have sex on either one of the peak days or both to maximize your chances. Also, it’s a bother but try to chart your basal body temperatures. It will help you to ascertain whether what the monitor has told you is correct. A mistake that I had made with the monitor was to set the testing window at 5am - 11am which meant I could test anywhere between those hours. The problem with that is, if your LH surges at let’s say 1pm, you would have missed your opportunity (if you have a short surge) and by the time you test the next day, the monitor may not show the peak (since the LH surge was short). So, what I did the cycle I got pregnant was to change the testing window to start at I believe 12pm and I would test at 2pm instead. That gives the monitor the opportunity to better catch the LH surge. The monitor is costly and the sticks are as well but totally worth it in the end. I also used the clear blue digital to get my positive. Good luck to all couples trying to conceive. Be patient, be positive and definitely take your prenatals when trying to conceive.

Just plain difficult and not user friendly and LOST 3 MONTHS OF DATA ON MY 1ST PEAK DAY :'(
To be honest I hate this monitor, its cool they updated the look but i hate how restricting it is, i can only do what they say when they say. I cant change the time for day light savings so its an hour off and it says i have to start a new cycle to change it... LAME. The test window is stupid too... when i get up and want to test let me freaking do it... but no it says i have to wait until my "test" window... i hate that. To alter anything you have to start a new cycle... there should be a way to change dates, like for me i forgot to enter the first day of my period so it will only allow me to count the 2nd day as my "1st" day in the monitor so already numbers wont be correct... the next thing that i hate is how hard it is to open the battery compartment up. I finally just pried it off and leave it off since the batteries are in there snug and i don't have it around anything liquid. The analysis part takes forever and to be honest i highly doubt its doing anything other than reading if there is 1 or two lines and how dark they are which you could do that yourself just by looking and skip the monitor all together. It may seem cool it keeps the data in the system but the fact you cant change anything really sucks. not all of us have regular periods or perfect cycles or heck were human we mess up or start it the wrong day. I feel like for the price and what it does it leaves a lot to be desired. There are lots of apps you could use for free on your phone for tracking and I don't feel this is worth the price or the effort. I think the regular OPK sticks would work just as well (unless you have pcos and cant get a good reading with them) but they really should make it more user friendly and add in more options... They also should add the option to have a chargeable battery in it and just plug it in to charge it. I wish i had saved my money but its to late now Im going to use the box of sticks i bought and see if it at least helps me get pregnant... UPDATE: 05/01/2017 so today i go to take a test but when it was time to insert it i turned it on and just before i entered the stick in it went black and it self restarted and was asking me to create a new cycle... I almost cried TTC is already hard but now several months of data is just gone and i cant even use the stick I mean i can see the lines and it should be a peak day but its not just the test here its also that the device is supposed to record cycle data so it gets your averages and so on... and now that's lost I wont miss the day we will still know when we should BD but it really sucks I paid over $100 for this thing plus like $80 bucks at least on sticks for it and now the info is just gone... so now i either can start over or use nothing... This just makes me so freaking mad and heartbroken I really wanted this to work but so far it really hasnt. Its great for those with a properly working device but if you get a messed up one or god forbid it doesn't mess up until right after its to late to return then you could potentially be out a few hundred bucks and have nothing to show for it. They really should make an sd slot to store info and also have a manual mode where you can go in and manually enter past cycle data just in case your info is lost... I have bought all kinds of random TTC things and sadly this one (that I wanted the most and couldnt wait to get) has been the worst and it really RELLY upsets me now my cycle data is just gone. Anyone out there with irregular cycles or other issues knows just how precious this info can be and after several months watching the divice start to predict info was cool but now im back to square one and today should be day 1 of my 2 peak days so i cant even do anything until i start a new period... I would much rather pay twice as much for a device that has a lot more options and the ability to save, export and manually enter data. as well as let you decide when to start a cycle (i realize they believe this will help accuracy but starting in the middle or a few days in if you enter period data should be fine and it allows the user to use the divice right away... the point is collective data anyway) this is by far the most frustrating divice i have used i think honestly im going to call them and see what they tell me and if i can possibly get a fixed device i may try again but if not im going to toss it and cry beecause while $104 may not be a huge amount its also not something most of us can afford to just toss out so losing that and the money i put in to sticks kind of makes me hurt, sad, frustrated, disheartened, MAD AF and the list goes on... I really hope they will work on creating a better device with more options in the future... that also functions correctly :'(

Fairly Accurate test
We bought the 30-test kit direct from Amazon, mainly because the price is better than what we can buy locally. It is still a bit pricy but still a better price than most local stores. I also recommend making sure you get this product from a seller you can trust in order to get good quality tests that are not expired. She has a bit of an irregular cycle so it is difficult to determine her peak days for fertility, so she got these to help determine the right times as we found that guessing on our own wasn’t really working. As other reviewers, have said, it is important to follow the instructions for these tests or you will not get accurate results. The kit tests ovulation over several days with a clear, easy to read digital display that shows low fertility as a circle and a flashing smiley face as high fertility with peak fertility shown as a solid smiley face. With each woman’s body chemistry being different, how these results show up is dependent on the individual. The important thing to remember is to start the test as directed in the instructions. When done as directed, the tests are accurate. This is really good for helping figure out her irregular cycle. So, now we have an accurate way to predict peak fertility, our fingers are now crossed that the swimmers make it to the destination. 4 stars

Reliable and easy to use fertility test sticks
These Clearblue fertility monitor test sticks have been a huge help in tracking my cycle accurately. They’re easy to use with the monitor and give clear, reliable results every time. I love that the system tracks two hormones, which makes it feel more precise than basic ovulation tests. It’s reassuring to know exactly when my most fertile days are, and it definitely helps take some guesswork out of trying to conceive. The box has enough sticks for several cycles, so it’s a good value too. Everything came well packaged and in perfect condition. Overall, these are excellent test sticks that work exactly as promised and make fertility tracking simple and stress free.

Great Product But Not Pregnant Yet
I am 34 and went off the pill December of '08 so my husband and I could TTC. I had been on the pill for 5 years. I also suffer from Vulvodynia, which makes intercourse painful. So knowing when to "do it" is better/easier for me than trying all the time. In January, I realized my cycle was about 36 days. I had no idea when I ovulated, but my period happened on day 36. In February, I tried OTC OPK tests, but they were hard to read and didn't give me any warning that I was about to ovulate-- only that I was ovulating. So, it was like we had one "shot" at making a baby. Obviously, I didn't conceive. Oh, and that month, my cycle was 35 days. So, I purchased this device after reading SO MANY SUCCESS STORIES. Of course, I planned to be one of those women who bought the monitor and got pregnant right away. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case. I love this monitor. It helps me keep track of my cycle (which is now down to 28 days). It's easy to use. I love that I also get several days a month of "trying" time as it gives 1-2 days of warning that ovulation is near and let's me know EXACTLY when I'm ovulating. So, though I'm not pregnant yet, I do know what's going on and when it's happening. There's just some kind of security in knowing that I do ovulate and when each month I have the best chance of conceiving. It has taken some of the guesswork out of the equation. I still have lots of questions like "Why Not Me?" and "What's Wrong With Me?" and "When Will It Be Me?" but these are answers only time and fertility testing will give. For now, at least I know I can count on not having to ask when I'm ovulating and when I should TTC because of this monitor. It really is worth the money. Sincerely, 5 Months and Not Pregnant But Hopeful

Box looked ruined
Product not yet tested. But quality upon arrival very disappointing. For +$250 would expect that there was care for the product. Box was open and frayed as seen in video.
