New fav scrunchy!
This review is for the Motique Accessories Black Jumbo Velvet Scrunchy. There was a discount for 2 and I figured I’d want a spare if it was good, so I bought 2 and I’m so glad I did! These are my favorite scrunchy now! Having 2 means they work really well for space buns and I won’t need to buy the bun forms I was looking at. The scrunchy is about 5” across and the photos show it compared to the kitsch pillow scrunchy, which is satin and about 6” across. This velvet one holds in my hair better, it takes 2 twists to put my hair in a messy bun with a good hold while the satin one takes 3 and slips more (expected from satin). It also holds a bun higher, on the top of my head, with it staying most of the day and feeling secure. The satin one works well enough for really long hair, but I just got my hair cut shorter and I was worried it was looking a bit too oversized for my just past shoulder length hair. This jumbo sized velvet scrunchy is a great size if you want a larger scrunchy, but don’t want it to be too overwhelming. I find that larger scrunchies hold my hair up and look better than the regular sized ones, so they are worth the higher price tag to me.

Purchased for 80’s party…but now it’s my new favorite!
This is honestly the best. Good material (soft) and durable. Jumbo size so perfect for thick hair, doesn’t pull hair out either! The color is even better in person I actually wear this out! I’m on a mission to bring the scrunchie back!

Not exactly “hot” pink but as pictured
Color is as pictured. Not exactly “hot” pink which makes me think of that neon glow. This is a great quality scrunchie

Large but the quality is subpar. I purchased the red one as well and that seems fine, however the blue velvet the stitching has been done differently shows is shows through and white thread has been used so it stands out, seems like a rush job.

Like these scrunchies. Slightly bigger and wider than ones you get in the shops. Better quality material sort of thicker material than the norm too. Colours true to advert i recommend seller and product
