Possibly The Best Whey Ever
I'm glad I found this whey. It has completely changed the way I look at...whey. I got it today and have had several servings already, as today's workout was quite intense and I didn't eat a whole lot. To give some history on me, I've been lifting weights for a little under three years now, and I've always gone with the commercial whey powders you find in the supermarket or at supplement stores. No problems gaining muscle, I've been able to blow up big time by force feeding myself protein of all kinds and working very hard. I've come to realize that in order to get the most out of your lifts, protein powder is an easy way to work towards that, and becomes a mainstay for any avid builder. To put it simply, this is all anyone should want in a whey protein powder, because it doesn't have anything else in it. For every 122 calories, you get 27g protein, which is a great ratio. And for $25 (the 1kg option), you get 50 servings, which is 50x27=1350g of protein. That's 54g of protein per $1 spent(!!). That's a practically unheard of value when you compare it to other whey supplements out there. The last whey I was using regularly, also in $25 amounts (I won't mention the name), which I thought was actually a pretty good deal, comparatively only yielded just under 22g per $1. And on top of that, it is higher in calories and requires way more powder to deliver the same amount of protein. Those extra calories come from all kinds of additives that are designed to make the commercial whey powders taste good...usually chocolate or vanilla, which I was never crazy about, regardless of the brand. And on top of that, those other whey protein powders are not especially easy to dissolve into liquids, yogurts, or whatever you're trying to use as the vessel for your whey. I'd always get nice big powdery clumps even after stirring the heck out of those powders. Sure those results weren't ideal, but I figured that was the way whey had to be. Wrong! This BulkSupplements whey is completely different. First is the taste. It isn't supposed to taste like anything, and it doesn't especially. To me it tastes sort of like milk or something, I actually like the flavor. It's subtle and is not at all sweet or sickening like those other much more artificial and commercial whey options. And secondly, it's white, fluffy, and filled with protein and only protein. That means it dissolves very easily, and gives a great protein to powder ratio. So you won't be dealing with some thick, over-filling, clumpy protein shake that forces you to have some weird artificially flavored and sweetened desert drink any time you want your whey. To me this BulkSupplements whey is a great option and indeed probably the absolute best option for people who understand that to build muscle, you need lots of protein...and that commercial whey powders are overpriced and loaded with unappetizing and unnecessary extras. Hey, if you are totally into the taste and price of those name-brand gimmick supplements, avoid this great whey powder. But if you're like me, you'll love this stuff, especially because you can actually get it delivered same-day with something like $35 spent. To me this is something to be really excited about that will make a big, positive change in how I get my much-needed protein!

Great protein powder!
I was pleasantly surprised about how lightweight and smooth this protein was. Most protein powders I have used have been chalky, thick and aat in your stomach like a brick. This stuff is way different, great to mix with light drinks (Sweet tea, juice or lemonade). Definitely my go to protein from now on

No flavor blends perfectly!
I don’t typically leave a review but I was very skeptical about this. I frequently use protein powders but they are always flavored. This caught my eye because I buy their creatine and it dissolves well with no flavor. Being someone who shoots for at least 30 grams of protein every meal/snack I figured a flavorless protein might come in handy for soup season. Today I added it to my tomato soup and it blended perfectly and did not alter the taste. With only 2 ingredients, being flavorless and blending perfectly, I will continue to purchase this and use in my rotation of protein powders! I love bulk supplements for their products and affordability.

Don’t put in hot liquid.
Pretty great overall. Neutral/milky taste. Good texture, doesn’t upset my stomach. Just one thing, NEVER put it in any hot liquid. I put it in hot water, it curdled up. I put it in oatmeal and microwaved it, inedible. Only mix it in AFTER your food/drink cools down. Otherwise, this is a great protein powder.

Just the pure product and nothing else
Just pure whey protein isolate and no fillers, flavors, or colors. If you want something that is about as pure as it comes, Bulksupplements.com is an excellent supplier and is recommended.

Great product - inexpensive, clean, and tastes good!
Like many others, I started a new diet in the new year, and I needed a good quality whey protein powder to make my daily shake. I knew I wanted something clean with no added garbage ingredients and no sweeteners (natural or artificial). I spent an hour or so looking at the options on Amazon and the websites of local stores, reading reviews and learning about emulsifiers. I decided on the Bulk Supplements whey protein powder because of the price and good reviews. I have never used plain whey protein powder before, and I was a little worried about the taste (if you have ever tried plain rice protein powder before, you would understand my qualms). I mixed one serving (30 grams) of this with unsweetened vanilla almond milk in a blender bottle, and I was very pleasantly surprised! It's creamier than other whey protein powders I've tried, and I honestly think it tastes better than many of the vanilla flavored powders out there. I had Designer Whey French Vanilla yesterday and had to choke it down because it tastes so fake, but this powder just tastes clean and creamy, even with thin, watery almond milk. Now, an hour later, I can say I never noticed any aftertaste, either. This is not the case with Designer Whey, which is also full of garbage ingredients. And speaking of ingredients, I read quite a bit about soy lecithin, an emulsifier and the only other ingredient in this product, while researching protein powders. While some people may not want to consume it because of concerns with GMO crops, soy/estrogen issues, or soy allergies, I read enough to assuage any concerns I had over using a product every day that contains a small amount of soy lecithin. Here's one article I read on it that others may find informative: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/amanda-greene/soy-lecithin-why-is-it-in_b_2891780.html The only negatives I have on this are related to the packaging. I didn't expect anything fancy (especially for the price), but I could not get the package to reseal. I plan to put it into a glass container anyway to store it on my counter more attractively, so I'm not taking any stars off for it, but it could be an annoyance for folks who are just going to use it out of the package. I ended up putting a piece of press & seal over the top of it this morning and will transfer it to another container after work. The second potential negative is that there's no scoop in the package (at least not that I've found yet - sometimes they are like the hidden prizes in cereal boxes that you have to use half of the product first to discover). The standard protein powder serving is 30 grams, though, so you can use a scoop from another protein powder product if you have one, which I happened to have.

Absurd protein hack
Been using protein powders for years, always bought the flavored varieties. Bc of the taste of most protein powders, I always assumed that the funky bitter aftertaste of the protein powders came from the protein itself and the flavorings were there to mask that taste. Decided to buy this pure isolate out of curiosity and turns out that actual protein is virtually tasteless?!?! This stuff is 26g of protein per 30g serving of powder, so almost entirely protein by weight, higher ratio than any commercial protein powder you can buy simply by virtue of it being unadulterated with any additives or flavorings. And you can mix it in w anything bc the stuff just tastes vaguely milky, does not give that “protein powder” taste. Sometimes I’ll just dump a bunch of it into some milk and then pour it over cereal, tastes exactly like normal bowl of cereal except the milk is slightly thicker but will have like 60+g of protein!!!!! What on earth! This stuff makes it unbelievably easy to hit your protein goals. No taste no smell nothing. Dirt cheap too. And it dissolves into liquids better than any other protein powder I’ve tried, no graininess whatsoever.

No Go on Bulk Supplements or any "supplement" that isn't already a whole food
UPDATE: 5/2018 I've stopped buying protein supplements altogether. I have discovered that it is more beneficial (and enjoyable) to just eat eggs. Each egg has about 6g of protein. Therefore, I consume 3 eggs to get 18g of protein blending them with frozen pineapple or frozen berries or combination thereof. That's all I need. It's a recovery drink AND a protein drink that contains many natural vitamins and minerals as well. No food coloring, no emulsifiers, and no preservatives. It's all natural. Some people think that eggs have too much cholesterol but the truth is, they have the good type of cholesterol that your body uses, not the bad kind that gets stuck in your arteries. Anyway, I eat tons of oatmeal every day which protects against absorption of the bad type of cholesterol. I buy a carton of 18 eggs for $2.79. That yields 6 servings of protein drinks. Bulk Supplements Isolate Protein powder package yields 33 servings for $26. I can get 36 servings buying eggs for $16.75. I save $10, get more servings, get a mega dose of vitamins and minerals, and still get an actual usable dose of protein. Are you really getting 30g of protein in each serving of Bulk Supplements? Even if you are, will your body really absorb all 30g of it after your work out? Unlikely on both fronts. I've definitely seen an increase in my muscle mass vs. when I was using Bulk Supplements. My recommendation is to go all natural in your diet and don't fall victim of the supplement industry's marketing. You can definitely build muscle and burn fat without it. UPDATE: 2 months of use I've been taking this protein mostly as a post-workout (weight lifting) drink. I work out pretty much every day and have taken this supplement accordingly. In a nutshell, this product hasn't made me sick or given me any side effects. That's the good news. The bad news is that I haven't seen any noticeable improvements in my muscle mass even though my weight lifting exercises have been stepped up appropriately for building mass. My diet has also been modified to accommodate the increase in workout intensity so I should have seen some kind of dramatic improvement akin to when I used other more recognizable brands such as Muscle Milk (I know it's terrible stuff but it did add bulk). At this point, I've got one serving left in my 2nd bag (I purchased two). I'm considering purchasing 1 more bag to give this product one more month to show me something. I want to believe this product works & is exactly what it says it is. The product didn't come with a scooper and I don't have an exact table spoon measure so I've been using a scoop cup from a previous protein brand. Judging from my research on Google, it seems that a scoop typically holds 30grams of protein powder. But this doesn't mean that the amount of actual protein in that scoop equates to 30 grams or even 27 grams as the label on the bag indicates is in a single serving. I found a site that said 1 scoop of whey isolate contains about 17grams of actual protein. So if I go by that, I'll have to increase the amount I put in my drink to 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 scoop of the Bulk Supplements whey protein isolate in order to get approximately 30 grams of actual protein. Alright, I have decided to order one more bag and increase the amount of powder I put into my drinks. I will update this review a 3rd time when I've completely run out of the product. In the meantime I've docking this product 1 star and bringing it down to 3 stars.....for now. Stay tuned for my next update. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW (JULY 15, 2016) I just received this product. It arrived quickly and on time. The package was as described with no damage and zip locks completely. Given that I just received this product, I can not yet say how effective it is. I can say that it mixes with water or juices very well and very quickly. It doesn't have a taste but I can tell that I've added something to my fruit juices or water. I use an automatic juicer to juice veges & fruits & then I mix in this whey protein powder. I've been using it for a week. I'm giving it 4 stars for now & will update after a month's use to determine if I'll add a 5th star or dock it some stars. I can say right now that I don't feel bloated after taking this supplement much like I used to with other protein powders and protein drinks I'd buy from the store.
