2mm Double-Sided Adhesive Sticker Tape - for Smartphone, Tablet, PC, Laptops, LCD, Digitizer, Small Electronic Repair - Includes Pair of Tweezers, Microfiber Cleaning Cloth

This adhesive tape works really well and does as it is designed to do. I was using it to repair tablets and because of how thin it is I had to use multiple rows of it. However, despite this fact the backing on the tape came up easily which resulted in easy application. The tape came with the application tool, a pair of tweezers with angle noses, and the microfiber cloth. Altogether it was a good kit that helped me reassemble two tablets that had been otherwise in pieces waiting for the final application of tape. The only downside I found was that the ring at the middle had fallen apart a bit, which probably results from it being sheared from a much larger roll. But two rings of stick-resistant paper and the included bag sufficiently store the product for future use, so I don't see this as a problem. I would buy this product again.

Worked good. If you are going to replace the screen glass on your s-3 with adhesive tape, it works great. The hardest part is getting off the old glass and glue which is like stiff gel. I used alcohol to help clean it off and that worked fine. When you pry the broken pieces of glass off the phone, be especially careful not to apply pressure on the display under the glue and especially with a sharp instrument. Maybe use a playing card for this as I saw one person on a video do. I used a 99 cent store utility knife to do it and though my results were almost great, it would be much easier for someone lacking experience with tools (I've been doing it my whole life), to use something thin and very hard but plastic. The tape is not wide enough to stay put very well though going up the sides of the phone it cannot be any wider. Do clean all old grit and glue off and things will be okay. I'm not really worried too much about the glass coming off, because this particular phone has a Ballistic Max case which came with a display cover which works with the touch screen still, though requires a tiny bit more pressure. This prevents the glass from ever getting loose and thus the need for glue in my opinion. Good luck ! Actually, the adhesive that comes with the screen glass ($8 or so for the kit here on Amazon), can be cut up and used for holding the glass (stock cut outs are not correct though the outer dimension is) and in that case you wouldn't need this tape I'm reviewing here at all. Plus this roll could probably do 200 phones so it's a terrible waste. Oh well, the company already made their money and most probably, the manufacturer does not offer 24 inches of tape. Oh, and by the way, this tape does the edges of the phone which would be a bit of a challenge to cut straight and narrow out of a wider piece. So this is where the tape is needed for the two pieces that go down the sides of the screen.

In short: This tape is a good product overall. It just doesn't seem as sticky as the original, but that may be a good thing. That original stuff was painful to remove. But I like the ECO-FUSED for three reasons: First, it does work as described and I think (there is a shred of doubt) it is basically the same tape. Second, it came with a pair of tweezers that are about worth the price of the item. Third, it came with a polishing cloth for my screen. Those extras are nice, especially the tweezers, they are extremely helpful in so many ways for a screen replacement! What takes it back a half star is really how sticky the adhesive feels. It may be my imagination but my screen feels loose. It may be my fault though, I only bought the thin stuff and I think to do the job right you need the fatter tape as well. I will update if there are problems, or if I am perfectly pleased in a few weeks! Let me know if my review is helpful and even tips on how it is written. I am working on my writing skills!

This was my first experience replacing a screen/digitizer on a cell phone; however, I am an EE student so have experience with other electronic devices/repairs. While other brands got good reviews, this was the only one that was black, the same color as the original tape. I doubt that makes it any better quality, but since the phone was black I didn't want to risk seeing any white trim around the screen. While prepping the phone (Motorola Electrify M), I kept thinking this tape better be strong. The outside edges were roughly 1mm wide, so no much surface area to stick to. The top and bottom though had ample area. But this didn't disappoint! In fact, it's so sticky that it was difficult to move if I happened to lay it down correctly. The tweezers came in extremely handy for applying it too. Trust me, if you decide to go with another brand...you better pick some up, it was almost essential I used them. Took me about 20 min to lay out all the tape. Some areas were much wider, so I just laid down 2-3 strips side-by-side. I didn't do a 100% cover, but got most of it. The edges only need about 1mm, but rather than cut it I just folded the excess over. Worked fine. I also used the tape to fasten down other areas where tape got damaged when taking it apart. Once done, the screen held fast and secure. I shook it around and even tried to ply it up a little. It obviously started to come up (which is how I got the original screen off), but it gave ample/acceptable resistance. I'm sure it will strengthen a little over time too. The tweezers were also a great bonus. As another said, they're very sturdy and not cheap. The only drawback was the uncoated bare ends are not very smoothe. They had little jagged edges that could easily snag, but I just smoothed it out with some 220 grit sand paper. I'm sure they were added to the cost since most other brands were ~$3 roll, but as I said before, you're going to need them anyway.

Man o man these things are amazing. At the price they are selling I would have to say it is a steal because these earphones are worth more. I received this product in the mail and received it very quickly. The product was packages well and I honestly went straight to the gym and put them to use. The sound quality is perfect and I was able to use them for my music and phone calls as well. The sound quality is very clear and I had no issues with phone calls or anyone not hearing me. The cord connecting the two ear pieces is thick and great quality. I have used others before for the price but they were cheaply made. These go above and beyond expectations. It came with instructions on how to set it up which were very easy to understand. I highly recommend anyone purchasing these if you want a great price and quality. I have also recommended then to my friends and family because I am so excited to use them. I did receive this product at a discounted price for an HONEST review.

This tape didn't work. After replacing the shattered glass on my Droid, I tried multiple times to tape the digitizer to the frame, it keep lifting up and never really did bond at all. Update - Well, what I said previously was entirely correct. After searching for more information, I finally found on a blog with someone's mention of clamping. After clamping overnight with small spring clamps with corrugated cardboard underneath to protect the glass, the bond was tight. Why this is not mentioned in any part of the application process I can't imagine. Maybe some instructions supplied would be helpful. Further Update - After about and hour, tape is coming loose and the digitizer unit is lifting up. Further update - After extensive research I found that this is not a problem with just this tape but in fact with all double sided tapes. To be of help, I used this on my Droid Razr Maxx which perhaps had some different conditions for using the tape. This blog by someone who repairs cell phones was the best description I could find... TAPE DIGITIZER TO FRAME hi guys, i have been repairing phones for a while and my biggest pet peeve has been LCD assembly Lifting from mid frame , causing not only light bleed but just a loose looking finish. so every time I do a repair, I tried to find a method to remedy this. And I think I'm getting very close, if not figured out. what I do is, I line the mid frame with a very thin tacky double sided tape adhesive, after ensuring that is clean of all the old glue and Wiped down with alcohol. in some applications I double up the double side tape because the tape i use is so thin. Then I heat the double side tape with heat gun before removing the backing and squeeze it down hard with a penny or an object similar to get it to adhere to the frame. Then I peel the backing off and I install the new LCD assembly (cleaned with alcohol ) squeezing it firmly on to the double side tape. once its in place, i use a heat gun again to heat up all around the device, then I press firmly all the way around except this time I apply strips of scotch tape. I stick it to the screen and yank it tightly around the back to hold the entire assembly tight to the frame. I do this all the way around the entire device, and then I let the device setup for 2 to 3 days with the tape sticking to the device. During this time, I rotate the device in and out of the refrigerator for periods of an hour or long as possible , my theory behind this, is that the constant temperature changes, while still held down tightly with scotch tape, will help cure the double side tape. After about 3 days I remove the Scotch tape. at this point my repair should be finished, and with a good hold. however there are times where I may see a small section with light bleed, what I do is I apply the same double side tape, but this time I apply it to the outside. Then I use my fingernail To work it down in between the digitizer and the frame and then repeat the heat and tape method. Give it a shot, and let us know. Another method I have tried Is, using an all purpose adhesive spray in an aerosol can . I spray the Bare frame (where the Double side tape will be) before lining the frame with double side tape it helps to promote the tape sticking to the frame. then after I stick the double side and remove the backing, I will spray another light coat on top of it.

I bought this item to help with fixing my kids cellphone cracked screen and to help put it back together. This item was more than enough for my job. But atleast i have leftovers for whatever double sided sticky things that needs to be attached to. Price wise its fair and quantity is enough since i have leftsovers. I suggest buying enough for the type of job you are planning to apply this to. Like cellphone repairs...electronic repairs and laptop repairs. You will need this for adherring components together. Quality is great for cellphone repairs as this item is small and thin. Perfect for the micro technician jobs. Durability is good. It does the job. I like that the seller supplied their customers with the tweezer. It really help. Without it i would have a longer time to do the job and become frustrated trying to apply this sticky tape by my fat hands and fingers. Lol. This is exactly what you need if you're working on a newer phone or piece of electronics that uses adhesive to bind parts together. Important to notes is that you should remove the old adhesive if you're going to apply new so that you don't affect the size as much as you would otherwise. Cell phone manufacturers usually use custom cut tape pieces that perfectly fit every area that they need to go, but for the DIYer you need something that you can mold and shape to get into the right position (I used the points of tweezers and the tip of a knife for this). Be careful not to overlap pieces or you'll increase depth, but overall, this product works well. It's holding my phone together right now. The included tweezers aren't great, but aren't bad. I found I needed two pairs to really hold and manipulate the tape (2mm is really small, that's the width of the tape, by the way) and the included ones are better than some precision ones I've used, but shouldn't be used for anything other than the tape as they're not very strong at the tips. I had to remove the pieces I had taped to do further repairs later, and it came apart just like the manufacturer's adhesive, but didn't shred as badly which means that I didn't have to reapply it for reassembly, which I like. Overall though, if you're looking to fix your phone, this is what you need. I love it and would buy it again.

Used to close a lg 8x after a battery replacement. Easy to use and effectively resealed the case. Watch a few videos to get a feel for how to apply it. Tweezers will be needed. It came with a set.

This product is very professional, including luxurious packaging. The tweezers that come with it are not high quality, but they will last a couple of jobs and are very useful in positioning the tape and pushing it down. The tape is universal and can be used on any mobile device, to securely reseat the battery, for example, or to replace broken screen components. Tape is much better than glue, almost no mess, predictable thickness, and the job will go smoother, even if you're just a newbie with a screen kit watching a you tube instructions hoping to not brick your phone :)
