Transmitter/receiver fatal flaw
Using this to stop my driveway from being the commercial truck turnaround spot for the whole street. These started out at 5 stars, exactly what i need them to do (i have 2). After about a week or two of minimal use ( 10 clicks, maybe 20 tops) the range on the remotes has dropped from tens of feet....to just a few feet. Just put new battery in remote, zero improvement. If i cant put this down by remote when i pull up i might as well have bought an $8 traffic cone. These have gone from fantastic, to pointless in about a week. Without remote this is NOT WHAT I BOUGHT, and not worth nearly the price paid...if i have to get out of my car every damn time then this is just a VERY expensive traffic cone :(

KEEP HEAVY DELIVERY TRUCKS OFF YOUR DRIVEWAY
I don't want delivery trucks driving down my long driveway because it tears up the concrete so I put a delivery box near the top of my driveway. But no matter how many reflectors, cones, and signs I put at the delivery box, delivery guys drive right by it. Well no more. And it's great while pulling out of the driveway, I just hit the hand held remote control, the barricade drops downs, I drive right over it, and then point the remote at it to bring it back up. It works great if you have the same issue I have with delivery trucks.

It is light metal. It doesn’t lock up. U can put it down easy with your hand.
The problem with the device is when you put it up it doesn’t lock. Some one can put it down easy just the alarm will be on. The alarm sound is not too loud.
