The flame is HUGE, makes my roomates jealous, and the materials it is made with feels high quality like your holding a 9mm pistol. Was thrown off by how you cant just pull the trigger to douse the flame like other torches ive used (not a problem at all actually kind of nicer) . The knob isnt just a limiter valve it is the on off function for the torch much like a full scale propane blow torch so you have to turn the knob all the way closed to kill the flame. I realize this is much nicer compared to other kitchen torches because it allows you to tighten the valve down nice and tight so you dont get leaking gas (which is a common problem with kitchen torches) This is the REAL DEAL here guys and such a good price. Less quality torches go for 60 to 80 brick and mortar.
