I haven't owned a comb or brush of any type since 1990. When I retired I let my beard grow. I realized pretty quickly I needed a beard comb and beard brush. When I saw this I wondered who would pay this much money for a beard comb (this type was called a mustache comb the last time I had hair). I figured with all of the money I'd saved over the years not owning any hair care products I could actually find out if this was worth the money. I'm going to say it's a nice comb but it's not life changing. Heavenly trumpets don't play each time I run it through my beard (I still don't have head hair). I don't groan in ecstasy while combing in my beard oil. The teeth points are smooth and well buffed with no burrs to scratch your skin or damage your hair. Since it's so small I figure I'll lose it pretty quickly. I think that must be why they offer it as a subscribe and save. I will say that now I own this comb I have a strong urge to buy other overpriced things that imply my manliness is larger then other guys. I also have the urge to hang out in greasy spoon cafes wearing a plaid lumberjack shirt and nagging the waitress on the greatness of farm to table and Bud's Corner Cafe should embrace the philosophy. The final urge I get from combing my beard with this comb is to style a crazy long handlebar mustache. Maybe it actually is life changing. Review: Baxter, you know I don't speak Spanish - First time comb buyer here and so far so good. I grew up snagging my dad's old brushes and combs, using them for holidays or weddings to try and clean up. I spent some time in the service and never had my hair longer than an inch, really no need for control at that length. I have been growing out my hair and beard for 3 months, so I have been looking a bit mangy lately. My mother and a few girls in my life wanted a cleaner look but I just don't want to get a haircut or shave my face. I bought some styling products and this comb to try and bring it all together and man scape. -I really like the different finger sizes, this way I can use one side for hair and one side for beard. -I think the comb feels professional grade, like the old school barbers had. -Great color and texture, which makes the comb stylish and fun. -A bit expensive for a piece of plastic to rub my head with but if you take your grooming serious, this bad boy is the comb for you. -Ron Burgundy Approved Thanks!

Great comb
Just bought 3 more for a gift, and realized I had purchased this back in 2014. It's now been 4 years and it's still the comb I reach for in the mornings. Still stylish, no fading or broken pieces. Easy to clean, and rarely have to. It has been with me now on multiple trips through the states and has not bent or broken while in my Dopp kit. The $ is a little up there, but will purchase again if I have to, and did today as a gift.

Well-made brush that looks and feels classy!
I love how sturdy and versatile this brush is. This is the first comb that hasn’t pulled my hair out. I love the color and size. Definitely a gentleman’s comb, would gift to a buddy!

Works like a charm
Excellent, high quality comb that gently parts hair. Is excellent for straightening wavy short hair (male).

A great comb and worth the money.
I thought this comb was expensive but I bought it because I am a fan of the Baxter of California products and have never been disappointed. After several uses I realized the price is a bargin. I previously used a brush and decided to switch to a comb as easier to throw in my travel bag. Grabs all of my hair which is very thick and I comb it back than forward in two easy motions for a ceasar style. Than I use the other half of the comb to groom my goatee.

Great grooming tool!
This was a purchase for my husband, who has been growing his beard for months now. He loves this comb! It's definitely small and it's funny to watch him hold this tiny comb to groom his beard but it does a wonderful job. The teeth are smooth and don't scratch his skin or snag his hair and so far none of the teeth have broken off. It is solid construction and looks very classy.

Worth the money
I used to use a round comb to style my hair, but just so difficult to clean them, and I have to clean them a lot since it will get all the lints sticked on which I don't even know where I get them from. This comb is much better!! Well made, and I think it will last long, doesn't get sticked much lints with all the hair products. And I think $20 bucks is not expensive at all, I don't know why Im saying this, because I was even thinking if I should spend $20 on a damn comb lol. Really worth it!
