I was kidnapped and sold to a monster. My abductor told me he would let me go…after he got what he wanted. So I offered him my virginity in exchange for my freedom, but he broke that promise. And now he's decided to keep me. When my past suddenly collides with my present, it's an all-out war. How could I have ever guessed that my captor would turn into my protector? I don't know if we can survive this, but now it's my turn to save him. **Saving Him is the conclusion of the two-book dark romance Keep Me Series and is not intended to be read as a standalone. It contains adult content for mature readers.** Review: 🌟🌟🌟 Perfect Mix Of Drama, Action, Suspense, Passion & Heart! 🌟🌟🌟 - This second book in the Keep Me series picks up just after Adeline decides to leave Lucien and is an exceptional follow up to Keeping Her. It’s tricky to talk about the plot very much without giving away key elements, but this book grabbed me by the heart just as much as the first one. Full of drama, action, suspense, twists and turns, tender moments and scorching passion, this was one amazing read! Adeline is the daughter of a mob boss, betrothed to his right-hand man Giovani, and nothing more than a possession or pawn to these men who will stop at nothing to find her and get her back from Lucian. Lucian is the quintessential tragic hero with a horrifically disturbing childhood that has manifest in severe OCD and germophobic behaviors and compulsions. Slowly and surely, though, having Adeline in his life is changing him. Bit by bit, piece by piece and moment by moment her sweet, compassionate nature is, brick by brick, tearing down the wall of Lucien’s heart and healing his damaged soul. Having read Keeping Her in July, it seemed like September would never get here, but finally I got my hands on an advance copy of this book. Boy oh boy, was it ever worth the wait! We have the chance to see Adeline become a strong woman who knows her own mind and will do anything to protect the ones she loves. The changes and growth in Lucien are heartwarming and inspiring to see, and watching their relationship deepen, strengthen and triumph over adversity and challenges is poignantly beautiful and supremely satisfying. One could conceivably read this book on its own without too many holes in the story, but to get the full picture and the deep, rich characterization, you’ll want to read both books in this series. Adeline and Lucien’s story is one of the best dark romances I’ve ever read! Don’t miss it!! Review: Saving Him - I absolutely loved Adeline and Lucien's story!!! I can't really decide the feelings for this book, but the charcters chemistry, and their flaws just made this book worth while. I can't wait for Jackson's story

Absolutely loved this series
Saving HIm did not disappoint me at all, it begins right where Keeping Her ended. Just saying that I believe this would have been an amazing standalone mob romance. I simply love the way the author has woven this dark & delicious story – I simply escaped into this world. The author paced this story perfectly and I simply did not put this book down, read in a day. Told from both POV you can follow the anguish and hurt as this story moves to the drama-packed emotional ending. So happy with the way their relationship progressed and how Luc grew into being the man for Adeline. How Adeline fought her way, in the beginning, middle and end was inspiring and my favourite part. A surprising turn of events was Jackson and his love story and I was very happy for him. Honestly, it has been awhile since I devoured a series like this and ignored the world. Adeline & Luc were simply an amazing couple who repaired each other’s souls and hearts. They each gave hope and a future to one another after unhappy and traumatic childhoods.

So much better than book 1! And I liked book 1
Of course, I had to read book 2. I actually liked this one more. Luciano has to rescue Adeline, and it is no easy quest. You have two different stories going on here, Adeline in the states trying to survive, and Luciano, on the island trying to survive without her. Add a baby into this and it was a page-turner from beginning to end. The story is fast-paced; the relationship between Adeline, her father, and her fiancé is fascinating. I loved Jackson being there for Luc and helping him get Adeline back. You also get more of a background on the characters and what made them that way. I can’t recommend this book enough and do not want to spoil it. If you like drama, high-paced action, and HEA, then this is it.

No character development.
Again, lack of details that provide us insights on characters. There was character development but not as much. The drama was here but i didn’t feel CONNECTED to the characters because i kept having these nagging thoughts missing in their personalities / background. And I’ll say it again, as if my first review wasn’t enough. Stockholm syndrome is real.

Saving Him
Okay this one was so much better then the 1st book. Omg so much drama, 😭 I couldn't believe what her father wanted her to do. But I was so glad when she got a way. But sad to see what happen to her boo, and her friend she made and the Dr office. But I couldn't be happier with that ending. My girl Auri Alden did a freaking good job. I just love her. The male narrator was okay. I don't think this was the bookfor him but it did take me a bit to get used to his voice. All in all this was a good book you guys are going to love it.

He!! And Back
Adeline and Lucien go through some trials. Lucian seems to be changing for the better. Go on this journey with them to the end. Loved it!

Could not put down
When I say this let me explain. I finished reading the first book and was so hooked I downloaded this one right away. It was let me read one chapter. Which turned into 2 than 3. Couple of hours later I had finished the book and was only 3 hours late going to bed. Loved how real for a book the end felt. How I want to know more of what happens after. I was invested in the characters. Would so read another of this authors book.

Weiter so!

Incredible.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This is the 2nd and concluding book so do read book 1 first to get to grips with the story. I honestly thought it wouldn’t be better than the first but gosh I was so wrong. Your kept on the edge of your seat from the very first page. I didn’t want it to end. I can honestly say this book is AMAZING. Please read.

The big bad wolf
Different spin for sure. But awesome! You will not be disappointed. It is a little on the darker side but I love them like that!

Soft Dark Romance
It was good. I find it "soft" for a Dark Romance novel, but it was good. It keeps you wanting to know what's gonna happen and gives the satisfaction of confirming/denying your guesses. There's not "only reading the first book" you have to keep going to know more. The characters have a solid personality 👌 even when they're not pivotal for the story.
