I have not used it as much as I hoped. Shortly after getting it, I packed up and moved. It sat in storage for 3 years. When I dig it out to use it, I found it still running in the box. Obviously, it was slightly out of time and date considering running in storage. As soon as I pressed the light button and it started flashing and beeping, it's final act I guess as it was too weak to respond. My only thought was the instructions should have something about how to change the battery. Got the battery changed and its working perfectly again. Awesome product.

O.K., I possibly had higher expectations that this stop watch could never meet. I am a soccer referee, and my watch died. I was looking for something to replace my watch, which had the capabilities of my watch: A. Was LOUD and would get my attention B. Had preset, selectable minutes to use for end of half, with alarm going off at end of the time period This is a standard stopwatch, and has no selectable time period. You cannot use the ALARM function, as the loudness of this stop watch is very, very, low. You could never hear it go off in an active sports setting, where there was crowd noise. The timer works in a standard timer fashion, but there is no 'alarm' setting for the timer. I can only say that the stopwatch does appear to be well made, and is heavy. It would be a great sports official watch, if the alarm setting was GREATLY increased, and it had selectable time period (i.e. 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, etc. ). This is a software upgrade issue, as the body of the stopwatch is fine.

Seriously impressed by the quality and functionality of this stopwatch. The display is bright and clear. The buttons are precise and produce a nice loud beep that can be heard i noisy environments. The case is solid metal and feel like it can withstand a drop or two. Minus a star for not having a on/off switch or lock out. It gets turned on accidentally in my bag ALL THE TIME and wears out batteries. The batteries are fairly way to replace but require a micro screwdriver. The lanyard mount is also very flimsy and not confidence inspiring considering the hefty metal casing.

Perfect for timing our high school track star! Great for helping her get her lap times down. It's so easy to use, the battery lasts a long time. Very accurate. We have dropped it a few times and it is very durabile. Worth every penny I paid for it.

Update 12/21. After working well for some time now this stopwatch is switching from stopwatch mode to time mode on its own. Very annoying. I will be timing myself during a workout and when I look at the watch it has inexplicably changed to time mode. End of update. After years of suffering with cheap plastic stopwatches whose buttons quickly become difficult/unusable, I found this one and was immediately in love with it. Until the nub that holds the cord came out, turns out it appears there is nothing really holding it in. Anyway, a drop of Gorilla glue fixed that and I was happy again. Until I dropped it on the gym floor. It must have hit squarely on one button, because that button no longer worked. Took it apart in hopes of a fix, but no go. So, I ordered another. Quality watch, but in part because it's heavy, don't drop it! UPDATE 12/30/19: The new one has a screw-in fob for the lanyard. Much better - thanks!

Nice stop watch. Nice feature, beep and light. However, after 9 months it stopped working. Battery is fine. It's not really water resistant. Pretty sure the sweat off my hand got inside it. Very disappointing for an expensive stop watch.

The stopwatch is solidly built and easy to use. I had problems with the backlight with my first purchase of this item as it stopped working after only a week. The seller promptly responded to my message and provided a replacement which has been working great. If you are in need of a well built stopwatch with a backlight I would definitely recommend this product now.

This may sound silly, but I tear up wrist watches like crazy, and have been searching for years for a digital pocket watch, particularly one with a display that is large enough for older eyes to read without glasses. I found this, and after some thought decided to give it a try. I knew from the description that the size is larger than I would hope for, but not by so much that it's really objectionable, and it displays the date, day of the week, and time all on one screen that is easy to read in reasonable light. This is the information I want. The same screen shows the year, but I can usually figure that out. I wish it had a back light, but so far that has not been a major issue. Water resistance is plus. As a side benefit, it has an alarm function that will occasionally be useful. I haven't timed anything with it yet, and probably will only use that feature sporadically, but it's available if I want it. So, it is now a quite robust digital pocket watch with some added features, and I ignore the occasional beep coming from my pocket when one of the control buttons is accidentally depressed. Works for me!

It’s a nice stopwatch, however the battery does not appear that it can be changed out… After spending this amount it is a shame that the battery is not able to be replaced easily.

It does not look like the pictures at all. I chose this specifically for the pictured type of buttons-- but they are not like like that at all. I find them difficult to press. It's almost like you have to push the button down, wait for a (sort of) click, then keep pushing it down before it starts. The first click is misleading-- it feels like a click but doesn't start it. I foresee that going awry for my precise counts. It also arrived a little scratched on the front. No protective peel or anything-- clearly a used watch. Silent mode works well, though. It's also very heavy. It's a metal stopwatch of course, but I own a few metal stopwatches and it's definitely noticeably heavier than the others, if that matters to you.

Unfortunately the watches were not in a working condition on arrival. Buttons not working which was very unfortunate as not usable !
