First Fighting Game. Pretty good.
I am pretty new to fighting games. Game is quick and satisfying for what it is but definitely not enough for a night of gaming with me and my wife. This is a nice filler game for two players and I recommend it if you wanna try something new. Very fun. Bushido is a very interesting dive into a reactive card battle that has you rolling dice related to how many dice are listed on your card and weapon. Each game you draft cards that are called techniques and then you pick a weapon to use in the duel. It is very back and forth and feels like you are in one of those slow taichi with sword battles. The game flows very well. You strike your opponent, they strike back and try to also heal up damage you dealt the previous round. Whoever is brought to enough damage loses and the other is crowned victor. One last thing. I got this game for just under 20 during black Friday deals. So I think I paid about what I think it is worth. Thanks for reading.

Train to be the very best fighter
This is a very cool, 2p fighting game that brings back some fun nostalgic feelings of being at the arcade dropping quarters to play Tekken II together. We love 2p games here in our home and this one made a quick and positive impression on us. Maybe it is some of the nostalgia of old arcade game fighting games, but for anyone who's a fan of those at all I think you'll find some similar excitement in playing this one. Even fans of samurai or martial arts movies will find Bushido, both visually and in terms of gameplay, appealing and fun. I find the art style of the cards, weapons, player boards, and even the fonts used to be a huge attraction for this particular game. I like sitting down to play this and seeing how it presents itself on the table, even in such a small game there is a strong theme that adds quite a bit to the overall experience. The setup mechanic of drafting fighting techniques from these greatly drawn cards is highly important to the game you're about to play, but while doing so you get to enjoy great art as your prepare your fighter. The draft phase is great and makes this game highly replayable, add in the hidden selection of which weapon you'll play and the "human element" and you'll never play the same game twice. The draft gives just enough control so that you can begin to form some type of battle plan or strategy in your mind but the random elements keep it fresh and never the same. With a hand of 5 battle techniques containing variable powers and attack/defense combinations you then select a weapon in secret that compliments the strategy of how you'll play. These weapon cards themselves have variable powers and can set up some very interesting combos. Again I'm reminded of Tekken and getting outrageous combos against my opponent, it is a lot of fun stringing together and boosting some of your technique cards and dealing lots of strikes against them. All of those strikes against your opponent can then in true martial arts style be countered and negated by different technique cards played by them. There is a lot of action/reaction going on between the two of you in very fast rounds, and the tables can very quickly turn on one of you depending partially on the luck your dice rolls. I am happy with this random element included in this game, without it this game would be too calculated for the time limits the game suggests. There would be obvious best cards to play each round to counter or rush a fast attack, the dice rolling allows for unexpected counters or fast strikes that can't be blocked and further adds to the fun. Chucking a handful of dice is always exciting, especially when each and every roll is quickly leading to one of you being victorious over the other. With fast gameplay, quick setup, reset, and put away times Bushido does a great job of coming in under its suggested 30 minutes of playtime. Some games can be dramatically short as a flurry of attacks can end some games in just a round or two, and then others with players perhaps both playing more defensively can hit the 30 minute mark. I like both scenarios and because of the draft and the dice rolls you may play similarly or a find balance somewhere in between them. Find your own path and enjoy this exciting game, weโve had a lot of fun with it so far.

Fantasic 2 player fighting card game
Not too tough to learn, high amounts of strategy (and replayability) and plays in about 20 min. It's a bit like a CCG game but without the need to spend hundreds on building a collection. Essentially, you draft a weapon and then 5 action cards to use for the entire game. Outthink your opponent to deliver that final game-winning blow. It's simple but deep and there are tons of different strategies you can take with the different weapons and move combos. I can't say enough about how good this game is.
