It works well if you have the right expectations
I took a chance and ordered this product despite some of the reviews claiming it did not perform well. I ordered the model with the siphon tube and also ordered a small bucket of grit recommended for my type of project (blasting rust off difficult to sand spots on a stainless steel pizza oven). I’m not a contractor, but I am pretty handy since I grew up in a family of skilled trades. Trust me when I say this product is super easy to use with a little to know experience. It is true that the instructions it comes with are complete junk, however you can easily find instructional videos on YouTube. The QR code for the instructional video on their box did not work 🙄. Of course I would not use this for a large scale project, but for small detailed blasting, it worked perfectly and got the job done. I cannot recommend it enough.

Use this properly and it will serve you well
This is a great, affordable and well-designed product for small projects, like the refreshing of my bench vise. I've owned other sandblasters in the past, so I knew that the "suction" aspect of this unit would, at best, work marginally. Not a fault of this unit, it's just that blaster suction hoses immediately create an air cavity and a void and don't work well. If you have a big project, get a pressurized sandblaster that feeds from the bottom. So, knowing that, I used a coal-slag medium to do my blasting, reloading the reservior about five times to finish the vise. Keep the gun level (move the piece so you can do that) and you'll be fine. Also...for a good job: Heed the PSI specs. My two-tank Ingersoll-Rand has trouble maintaining 90 PSI, but it got the job done. Also, don't even think about using this or any media blaster without a moisture remover installed in the line. I installed mine at the compressor, so all the air in the hose was dry. If you don't do this, your media will likely clog at the nozzle. High ratings for this one. Now go have fun in the garage!

Good product at great price for small jobs
I needed a soda blaster for small jobs/projects. There are several ways to go for this but I am glad I tried this one. The product does very well with running soda and has a built in trigger with a container for the material being sprayed. It runs well with my compressor at their suggested PSI setting. A giant plus for them is their customer support. I had some questions before purchase and they answered within one business day or less which is remarkable these days. Not just for items made overseas but anywhere. Just don't be fooled into thinking you are going to use this to blast a truck frame or any big jobs. It does a good job on small jobs and that is what it is for.

Not really worth the price, weak
This 'sand blaster' did not perform nearly as well as I had hoped, and I didn't have high expectations. It does work, shoots the media, filtered play sand in this example, but lacks the power to cut through much paint or rust. It's not total junk. It's just weak. The plastic handle and frame feels like a toy. But it will shoot some media and might gradually remove a bit of material if you are persistent and patient.

A toy, total waste of money, does not work
Wanted to clean rust and original paint off the back of a piece of my 56 Panel truck where I couldn't get stripping pad. Panel was too large to fit in my table top blast cabinet. First this thing is almost all plastic, came with only one nozzle, not two, no other accessories. Came with a card saying if I went to the manufacturers website I would receive a free inline filter tho. when I did that it said filter was no longer available even tho they would sell me one! Extra nozzles were 14.00! Bought crushed glass blast media which is excellent for paint removal and available in small amount at my local big box discount tool store to test blaster, filled hopper 3/4 full. cranked up pressure on my large stationary compressor to 150#. First when I opened the hopper feed, media started freely pouring out nozzle. But when I pulled the trigger so little media came out I couldn't even see the stream. I started on an area of old primer only. I blasted the area for > 10 minutes to remove an area about the size of a nickle down to metal. At that rate it would take MONTHS to blast the whole panel! Checking the hopper it was near empty! The small cheap blasting gun in my table top blast cabinet does a far better and faster job. Conclusion: This is an expensive toy not a real tool that wastes pricey media without doing any real work. Don't waste your money. It's being returned immediately.

Very versatile! Gravity fed or siphon function!!
I am loving this sandblaster! I will most likely use this as gravity fed because the vast majority of my projects will be smaller DIY work, but the great part is that if I am doing any body work or any large piece that will require more I can use the siphon feed as well!!! Having that kind of versatility in one package is really what someone like me needs. I have limited space in my garage workshop and I can't afford to have multiple tools that are providing a similar function. The durability of this seems very very well made. I haven't used it for a long time because this is a recent purchase but I will update this IF it breaks in an amount of time that I feel like is unreasonable. This comes with a risk-free, no questions asked, money back guarantee. That's something that certainly makes me comfortable. They are willing to stand behind their product and the positive reviews show this. I would highly recommend picking this up and I hope they continue to make products because I would love more fun toys to play with in the shop!

Pleasantly Surprised
Needed a sandblaster and struggled with what to buy. Lots of good and bad reviews on ALL of them. Bought the Lematec kit and I must say it worked very well for me. I have a 15 gal DeWalt compressor 5-10 CFM. It struggled to keep up with the big pieces (headers) but had no trouble with brackets and such. I used 70 grit aluminum oxide from Harbor Freight. For two days, it worked perfectly. On the third day, I started early and there was a ton of moisture in the air lines from the cold overnight. I didn't empty the valve soon enough and I began to blow water vaper on the header. The amount of moisture in the line was rather surprising. Very little the first two days, tons on the third day. The gun clogged twice and I had to take it apart to clean. 10 minutes tops. I quickly learned to keep the moisture cleared and the gun worked fine. I used the gravity feed initially but got tired of feeding it. It gave my compressor a chance to catch up but switched to the suction feed and never went back. The gun worked best above 90 PSI. It did not work well below 90 and not at all below 80. The pressure indicator valve helped to me to do a quick check when it wasn't working as well. Keep it fed with media, pressure above 90, moisture level down and it will work like a champ. Side note, use a full face sheild. It will help. I used safety glasses but found the media could still get in. I used both and eliminated the problem. Also, use an N95 respirator. Don't be cheap or lazy. You can buy then relatively cheap on Amazon.

Parfait, fait très bien son travail

Not really that good.
Really not suitable for removing paint from wheels. I tried to strip one mini light wheel and went through 13 kgs of media with very little effect. Not recommended for anything other than small projects.

Buen producto
