Pocket Versatile Light, Flex Mechanic Light with Magnet Base, Handy Flashlight & Flood Light, USB Rechargeable Battery Powered, 400 Lumens LED

Compact, versatile and bright, this mighty little light is the end of the line for many of my other flashlights and worklights. Having already saved me the time and frustration of either having to hold, position or prop a normal flashlight or worklight in just the right position in preparation for a task, this light has already paid for itself. I am able to quickly and easily attach and position the work light enabling me to have both of my hands free. I used the light to illuminate the inside of my air conditioning unit (pictured) which had filled with water due to a clogged condensation drain hose. I also attached the light to the back of my refrigerator to illuminate the area with the compressor and coils in order to repair a broken fan blade. Finally, other lights I have used for auto repairs and maintenance have been challenging to say the least. Having a magnetic base and a hook from which this light can hang in a relatively small space is going to make automotive tasks both easier and quicker. NOTE: While the magnet is strong, the type, shape and condition of the material to which the magnet is attached will determine the holding power. Don't expect the flashlight (or any magnet for all that matters) to hold well to a 0.1mm thick piece of composite sheet metal. This light is a clear reflection of many hours of thought invested to create a design that addresses a number of applications where other lights have fallen short. While no light can address every application to perfection, this is without a doubt a light that I will use frequently and would not hesitate to order again. UPDATE +6 Months Later After six months of ownership, I can honestly say this mighty little light really IS my go-to light. I keep it attached to the inside of my standing tool chest in the garage. I use this light almost every time I work on the cars. As for inside the house, while we have a few other flashlights, invariably I find myself retrieving this one from the garage.

Not much to dislike tbh. My only gripe would be the power button. Not just the location but the button itself. It's a bit difficult to find with one hand without looking as it's not raised and is easily mistaken for the opposite side where the USB port cover is. It may be I just don't have a good feel for it yet seeing how I've only used it a handful of times. However it very bright, very lightweight, the battery life seems to be as good as advertised plus I love versatility of having the flexible neck, 2 light source options and the powerful bottom side magnet. Absolutely perfect for working under the hood, provided the hood is made of metal of course. Overall I give it 5 stars, 10 out of 10, 2 very enthusiastic thumbs up, fun for the whole family, riveting.......

It almost acts like monkey under the vehicle cause of its magnetic base which is quite strong and can kling to many metal surface points under the vehicle chassis and stay put and won't wonder away from its intended target. The goose neck out to the light has a very smooth motion action won't hang up and won't act kinky and such. Seems very well solid built, however it does seem like you cannot remove the battery, probably some kind of lithium permanent battery specific to this light, tried to separate the top and bottom casing of base unit with substantial torque and does not seem to want to separate almost as if sealed by glue. However at the very bottom there is a easy access phillips screw which may be the access door to the battery compartment haven't tried that. Probably takes a 18650 battery if it can be removed, can be charged by micro usb connection on the side very durable it seems so far had it about a year, the light head assembly can be taken apart by very small allen screws, has a very soft feel tactile like on off switch no click almost silent very durable. Hi low floodlight and spotlight reasonably bright certainly good enough vehicle work. Am Wowed at the intensity of that spotlight even at distance of about 10+ feet also the floodlights have a good angle of attack with good brightness likewize, i was concerned about the color temp. of the light and to me seems to be about 5000 degrees kelvin chart which is not as harsh as to say 6000 degrees more of a bluish light which can harm your eyes over time cause blue light is a shorter wavelength and has more penetrating ability into the eye structures. Battery life the light can get quite a lot of use before be charged back up again, when i keep it on low be about 7 hours +, on high about 5 hours plus or minus an hour or 2. I'm not sure if its waterproof has a rubber boot cover over the usb port probably just water resistant my guess, seems to handle cold weather well at least down to the low 20s whatever the lithium battery chemistry would allow. Battery issues none that i can think of with this product. I have never dropped this unit so i can't say what the issue if any would be there, however i have dropped other lithium battery lights after that they acted kinky but they still worked just fine. They impact resistance and the scratch resistance of the lens both flood and spot seems to be quite remarkable course try not to abuse the unit likewise. And as with any high intensity small or large light unit never, never ever point these potential weapons anywhere near a persons vision area, they have the potential intensity of that of a laser especially the long throwers. If your being attacked by someone and must defend yourself with your flashlight well i guess that would be a judgement call. Overall this light has served me well for over a year now and has been quite a little companion knock on wood, Thanks.

First of all.. this is great and versatile... it uses 18650 rechargeable battery and has charging port right on the side. With 18650 and led lights, this will run for a long time. It has a very strong magnetic base that you can attach to the hood or trunk to work on your car, look for stuff in the trunk, or attach to the side of your car to change a time. The light has 2 wide flood setting and a flashlight function. I am buying extras for my relatives because these are so useful.

Wonderfully versatile & effective. Small but bright until the battery wears, but easy to recharge and I find it hugely helpful on the lathe, bandsaw and many other places that need a bit more light. Best I've had for the price.

Great light! Love that I can use it so many places because of the magnetic bottom. Will stick and stay in place! It is very bright and lights up dark places very well w the led light. Also like that it bends so many different ways. Compact yet very versatile.

The Good: 1. The light is bright 2. The magnet is strong The Bad: 1. After a year battery doesn't hold a charge. 2. The on/off button is gimpy. Overall it's fair, but there may be better.

Bought this for when I need light when working. Actually really convenient because very small yet bright. It has a few settings and is super handy. I am surprised how often I have used to paint, look inside small spaces, even vacuum after putting up wallpaper!! I keep it in my portable tool bag and grab when I need it. I have not had to recharge it yet, so cannot comment on battery life.
