Used these cables to connect my switch with my patch panel, replacing the hodgepodge of cables I was using of differing lengths, standards, and quality. Tested the connections using Ookla and then iperf3 and I'm now getting consistent speeds with high throughput, as well as low latency and ping. They feel professional and look sharp in the networking room. The cables themselves are super durable for indoor patch cables. They aren't very flexible, but that's expected with Cat 6A. I love everything I've purchased so far from Cable Matters! Keep up the good work.

These work great for patch panel cables

These were the perfect length and function well with my 1gig network. I have no dips in speed or drops of service. The cable is thick but still bends well and has a really nice connector with a really satisfying click when hooking them up. I definitely will be purchasing again in the 1’ variant for when I upgrade to a small rack.

Very sturdy quality construction with metal fittings. I docked a star because in my 5-pack one was only 3' but that was OK as I had a use for it. The Cat 6a is overkill, but I ran a 75-foot line to my basement and wanted bandwidth for multiple devices. I mostly wanted it for the quality construction.

These Cat 6A cables from Cable Matters do exactly what they’re supposed to. Speeds are fast and stable, and the shielding helps with interference. The snagless design is a nice touch, and the white color blends in well. Good value for a 5-pack—no complaints.

I would highly recommend these shielded twisted pair for any apartment, as there are multiple tenants and shielded cables reduce interference with electronic devices from neighboring power lines and even other wireless device interference I recommend that every wireless network uses shielded twisted pair, as a lot of times the cables that come with your devices are unshielded, and you want to make sure there is no interference. Something Best Buy Geek Squad won't tell you, plus if you have older cables that are from a few years ago, I recommend updating as when ISP's upgrade their data speed you should upgrade your cables to be sure that your devices are getting maximum rated speed and that the old cables are not limiting your speed, as CAT5 cannot handle the same speeds as CAT6A and others. Be sure when you buy cables that you match the jack to your connections, most home routers and modem's use the RJ-45 standard so as long as you get the STP (Shielded Twisted Pair, not 'Scientifically Treated Petroleum') the car stuff. They come in several colors Black, Blue, Yellow and a few others, the connectors are great, they have a connector cable guard as well, they fit snugly into the jacks and they are easy to snap into place. Quality material as well, come in individually wrapped cable bags as well. I highly recommend that every network get shielded cables for optimum performance from network. Then again that is just me as a tech guy
