Maxfeel 100% Pure Mulberry Silk Charmuse Solid Dyed Fabric Multicolor for Bedding Dress Sold by Half a Yard or by The Yard (#Champagne)

I bought some of the Peacock Blue Silk for a robe I wanted to make. Shawn at MAXFEEL was super helpful when I realized I didn't read the product description carefully and ended up needing more fabric for my project. I was concerned about the fabric colors not matching and emailed with my concerns, then ordered more fabric (which is beautiful quality). The day my 2nd package arrived the seller contacted me to make sure I was ok with the match and to let him know if I wasn't, saying that if they didn't match he would help me to get what I needed. Well, there was no discernible differences in the color so we didn't have to take it any further. But still, I was impressed by their customer service and seemingly genuine concern for getting me what I needed, and blown away that they followed up with me before I had a chance to follow up with them. Both packages arrived before their expected arrival window as well. Just all round great service and a very luxurious product to boot. I'm so pleased.

I was so pleased with the first shipment of silk fabric, that I ordered from this seller again when I needed more. I ordered silk for making masks, which all my family have worn and hand washed multiple times with no issues. The silk is thin and light weight, exactly as I wanted, but not see through (I ordered a dark color, probably you would see somewhat through very light colors). I burned a tiny piece which crumbled completely to fine powdery ash, which is confirmation that it is indeed silk. I would consider this fabric suitable for a dressy blouse if you are making garments. It does take 2-3 weeks to ship, but this is much faster than the seller promises. I live where silk like this is unavailable within a few hours drive so it is worth waiting for me.

Beautiful just beautiful. It is so soft and silky, a little bit thinner and some was frayed but that's ok. I can just hem up and it will be good to go. I'm using the material to make my daughters regalias. I use to dance as a fancy shawl dancer and now I will be making my girls first outfits for pow wows. I will definitely buy again. A very happy customer :)

Hard to see with but love the feeling, and it’s durable!

Took 9 days to ship, as expected. This silk feels AMAZING. Super comforting, very soft and.....*voice change* silky smooth. I had to rub it on my face, it felt THAT good. Smells really nice too! Will only ever buy mulberry silk from Maxfeel. Oh I got it in white. The colour is so dang nice! Ive gotten silk from other great stores and they did NOT feel this good at all! You wont regret it!

Do not purchase from MAXFEEL! Silk does not ravel and I could unravel all of this material if I wanted to do it. It should feel like silk on both sides. It doesn't. Don't waste your money. I had to put at least one star, but they don't deserve it.

I bought this to drape a crucifix on the altar at church. It had a beautiful shimmer, and the folds held beautifully. I am going to hem the edges as there is some fraying.

My half yard of white silk arrived yesterday. It is beautiful and of perfect quality -- weight and weave are what I expected. You can look at the Q&A to get good information on this. The silk is from China. Packaging and shipping were excellent. My pkg arrived 18 days after I placed the order which was within the range of expected delivery. I am pleased with the product and service and will not hesitate to order silk fabric again from this seller.

It seems to be pretty true silk. I only wanted it for pillowcases and it's great quality for that. It seems on the heavier side for silk but I'm no expert.

There are alot of critical reviews here. I'd like to address 2 of them. #1 There is a postal bottleneck in both Richmond B.C., and in Mississauga, Ontario here in Canada. In fact the Mississauga clearing center closed its afternoon shift due to a Covid-19 outbreak amongst the workers there. So EVERYTHING coming into Canada takes weeks to months to arrive since the last 2 months. #2 Colorfastness cannot be guaranteed with silk. It will bleed. Always hand wash silk separately in cold water, and choose black or a corresponding color to the silk if making masks with spandex trim so that the silk color won't overly affect the color of the trim. I made a fuschia/mauve silk mask with a white spandex trim, (stretch the trim as you sew to make the edges of the mask cling to the face). The color ran when I washed it, but it made the spandex a beautiful lighter shade of the silk so it's still beautiful. Some of these complaints were unreasonable. I will definately buy silk from this seller again, if I need more. Tayyab's Mum.

i ordered this item and it took 2 months to receive it and by that time the window for returns had passed so even though i had not gotten the product i was no longer able to return it if i wanted... and i wanted to. the silk does not feel very nice and the fabric is see though even though i ordered black so overall i am very disappointed!

Beautiful fabric. I'm sewing my wedding dress with it. I'll post a picture update when I'm done.
