Better Houseware 1494/4 Plate Rack, standard, Silver

I bought the Better Houseware Large Kitchen Cabinet Organizer about eight years ago to organize baking pans and cutting boards in one of our kitchen cabinets at our apartment. It served our family well for its intended purpose for several years, until we moved to our first house with a kitchen that has a lot more drawers and cabinet space. Currently, I use it in the home office to organize some extra homeschool paper supplies, such as notebooks.I like that it's made of lightweight, durable alloy steel, and is coated in white to match any decor.The four slots to divide items have been sufficient for me. The dimensions listed are accurate at approximately 10.25 inches in depth, 10.75 inches in width, and 7.5 inches in height, with 2.5 inches of space between slots, which has been the perfect amount of space for my needs.Overall, this organizer has been multi-functional and durable, and I highly recommend it!

I'm sure you would know that most people stack they plates of varying sizes in their kitchen cabinets. And in order to get to a larger plate in the bottom, one would have to lift up all those stacked on top. Cumbersome and usually makes a lot of noise.I actually have been using 3-tier storage racks that I separate the plates by size which makes it easier to get at the plates. But they are still stacked.These racks keep my plates separated by size and in vertical position, thus making it very easy to put the plates back and to take them out.My racks came in chrome and are strong. I'm pleased with the quality and the price.

Recently downsized 2 homes into one! Needed help ton oganize all my kitchen stuff! This work fantastic in my closet for sheet pans etc. Very sturdy and good quality.

I've had these for a year now and they are worth the money. I don't buy plates but somehow, I end up with more of them each month. I swear I give them back to my MIL but they wind up back in my cupboard. I don't have enough space to separate plates by size so I ended up having a tower of plates that was bound to fall and shatter at any moment. That ended being a disaster every time I would need a plate that was underneath several others. I would have to take the top stack off and then put it back after I got the plate I wanted.I saw something like this on Pinterest and honestly didn't know they existed, as silly as that sounds. I had used a vertical plate shelf before but this is so much better! You file your plates instead and it's incredibly easy to sort by size now and take one plate without making too much noise or having to take other plates out to access it. I am also able to store more plates which is an added bonus.Definitely one of my better buys. One thing I wish this did have is rubber feet so it won't slide in my cupboard but you can fix that by using shelf liners or what I did, butting up a tower of bowls against it. Now I just need a way to organize those bowls better!

Great, as advertised

At first i thought this rack would be helpful in holding our plates and such as seen in the picture but once we got it home and realized that most cabinets dont accommodate plates standing on end I had an epiphany, I used it to store all the crazy sized lids to the practical joke amount of Tupperware and Glad containers and other plastic storage items that we own which all seem to be from different eras and manufacturers making it a nightmare to organize properly in a cabinet space. Well this plate rack did the job and well, the lids all fit in the spaces and stack together closely. I can "book end" the spaces with larger lids of the same variety to capture the smaller lids in place and it helps keep a tiny bit of sanity for me every time i have to open that particular cabinet. So now instead of a landfill like swath of lids i have a tidy organized shelf where finding a lid is a snap, instead of a painstaking process which for many could be the last straw before setting fire to their house and moving to the Barbados.

I wasn’t sure if this gadget would fit my needs, but I am so happy I purchased it! I have the thin Corell plates in four different sizes: dinner, luncheon, dessert and divided (12 of each). I had them stacked in my cupboard and the space wasn’t being utilized well. I also had the dinner and divided plates stacked and the luncheon and dessert plates stacked which made it inconvenient to grab the ones underneath. I was worried they would be scratched or broken. I took a chance on this plate divider and it solved the issue completely. Now my cupboard is much better utilized and organized. The divider is working perfectly holding 12 of each plate per section. It is sturdy and exactly what I needed! I highly recommend.

My mom had these but rubber coated which I liked better. I took them when she passed on. Older than me but still going strong. Great space saver and don't have to pile dishes on top of each other making us dig to get them out. Everyone should have these. In fact they make great presents because they make life easier. Friends who have come over and seen them in my cabinets have wanted them. Guess what they got from me.

Mi esposa tiene muchos moldes para pan y galletas, estaban apilados uno encima de otro y era un relajo sacar sólo el que iba a utilizar. Con este organizador vertical ahora la alacena se ve más ordenada. Adjunto fotos. También puede ser utilizada para libros, cuadernos, cajas de herramientas, etc, pues las barras son muy resistentes y firmes, no se doblan. Entre cada espacio hay 6 cm.

Buena opción de compra para poder organizar la cocina y así también poder ahorrar espacios, de buen tamaño y material.

These stands are so amazingly helpful. It took me 5 years to finally organize and store my large serving plates, etc with these fabulous stands!!!! Wish I had found them before now. They are very sturdy so don't fear putting your breakable serving plates in these stands. Just for peace of mind though, I took one small piece of very strong tape and secured the bottom of one side to the shelf.

The Better Houseware large organizer with its sturdy wire frame construction and durable coating is well suited to the vertical storage of bake ware pans and cutting boards. The caveat is that at the time of this writing a cost of $19 in CAD funds is overpriced
