Xtrema Black Ceramic Teapot - 2 Quart

Had it only one week before it cracked open after boiling dry on low heat. This used to be covered under warranty, because it wasn't suppose to crack under the condition. When the seller was contacted, I was told that they were pretty sure it was covered & could be replaced; but after further inquiry to the manufacturer was told that part of warranty was no longer active & that I could purchase another for half price. I opted not to since a similar thing may happen again. Will now try & find an electric one that shuts off automatically.

I love and use this teapot everyday!
