Temporary Hair Color Root Touch-Up Dark Brown Ammonia-free, Peroxide-free Root Cover Up Spray 2.5 Fl Oz

I bought this based on the great reviews as an emergency to hide my grey roots for an important, last minute in-person event at my job. I took a leap of faith and ordered it so I could use the time I had before the meeting to prepare to give a presentation instead of dyeing my hair, which is a process. I was nervous that it wouldn't work but it was a lifesaver! Pro tip: I recommend using it to hide your roots before you do your makeup especially on the hairline and temples. I did have some splatter of the product on my face since I used it as the last step. I just took a Q-tip and carefully removed it but you definitely want to avoid this. It dries super fast with no tacky feel. Afterward, it doesn't rub off if you touch your hair. If you spray too much on your scalp, stay calm, and use a fine-toothed comb to break it up for a natural look. Also recommend combing it through your hair to break up the product to prevent fallout and to see if there are areas of grey you missed. The color was a very natural match to my hair and to Clairol's Root Touch Up color in dark brown just for reference. The price is great also. I will see how long a bottle lasts. Concerned if it does contain butane or aerosol which is bad for the environment. But this is a game changer for me since it's the first time I used a root touch up in spray form. I typically only use the powder versions but can be a process to apply when your hair is really grown out like mine was. Highly recommend!

Love this! It is so easy to use and it really does cover up thinning hair or grey hair. I’ve tried the other ones and this is by far the best one out there. It’s kind of expensive but well worth it.

It does add some color to create a "root" but it is pretty sticky. Not a deal breaker, more of a need to know. Used this on a Smarttinov wig that did not have a root, it worked well enough to make a subtle difference, I chose Med. Brown.

Bought it only because I had an event randomly come up and was in need of a hair appointment to cover my grey hair but have no time. I bought it and prayed it wouldn’t be horrible, I was so happily surprised! It covers great and no drip or stain. Would definitely recommend this if you need a quick fix!

This product works great for covering up my gray roots. The dark brown matches my hair perfectly. The sprayer works really well, it has a fine mist and doesn't spray too far. I purchased The Clairol brand last time and it shot out way too far. I ended up throwing it away.

I love How easy this covers grays & quickly, it does leave some what of a stiffness like cheap hairspray, HOWEVER, the worst part is the product, whether you buy it in a store or through Amazon, you only get 2 uses out of them, MAYBE a 3rd of just aerosol! The cans just always seem half full! Im only spraying it right at my root tips in the front of my face so for you to only get two uses plus a half of use out of it? It's becoming not worth the money to me. They should make larger cans that are full and charge a lot less! My hair is shoulder length! One hair wash it's gone

Prefer this to Clairol Root Touchup. Dark Brown is a really good shade that doesn't read "too dark."

I was longing for the product, thinking that it could cover my greys. But was utterly disappointed with it. It just does not color hair strands. It can only color tissue paper brown. The product is imported and costly. I must say it's a total waste of money.
