Too thick and burly - doesn't match dimensions
I had high hopes for this product, but those were dashed as soon as I got it. It is HUGE. It is nowhere near 10x7x7. It is more like 13x9x7 or more. The material is incredibly stiff and bulky and wastes a huge amount of space. The usable interior is only about 9x6x4, and that's assuming that whatever you put into it is extremely durable and stiff. You can forget about putting anything like fruit directly into it.About the only plus is that it is water-tight. I followed the directions of putting hot water into it to soften the liner and make it better fit, but it didn't help. Because of the bulk and stiffness, you easily lose 4" in width.I wound up getting a much cheaper soft cooler pack with a square zipper (more like luggage) that doesn't insulate anywhere near as well, but at least I can put more items in that other one including an ice pack and the contents won't get crushed. With the polar bear, I couldn't even fit a "sports drink" sized bottle and an ice pack.

I cry foul on 24 hours of ice
This is a very well built cooler, BUT, it won't keep ice 8 hours on an 80 degree day.My buddy and I filled our coolers with the same ice. His being an igloo legend 6 packOut of a motel ice machine. We both worked all day outside in 80 degrees. At the end of the dayHis $15 cooler still had ice in it and I had cool not cold water. It is a sturdy well made coolerBut the 24 hours of ice is absolutely untrue. I gave it three stars for ruggedness and no starsFor truth about 24 hours.

A Lifesaver
I have been using Polar Bear coolers for a few years now. I own a 6 pack and a 12 pack size. 6 pack filled with ice fits neatly into a knapsack along with other gear. 12 pack is for my hotel room which holds one of those big bags of ice from a convenience store.Ice in 6 pack lasts around 15/17 hrs ***depending on how solid the ice is. Watery ice holds for roughly 6/7 hrs. One full bag of convenience store ice in a 12 pack WILL last 24hrs. Just brilliant !!This is one of the best products I have bought in the past few years. I use it to carry medicine mainly but it is also EXCELLENT for hotel rooms. Don't want to pay extra for a room with a fridge...BUY A POLAR BEER "FOLDING" cooler.

12pack is much better
i originally purchased the 12pack but decided it might be abit big for me. so, i purchased the 6pack. too small and the liner/insulation takes up so much of the interior room that you're lucky to fit a decent lunch in it. there's no doubt it does it's job, albeit with very little room for much else. sticking to my 12 pack which is better quality constructed as well.
