I bought a refurbished Samsung soundbar that worked well, but every so often would drop the sound while connected through Bluetooth. The only way to get the sound back would be to unplug the soundbar and plug it back in to connect it. I bought this optical cable as I believed that the Bluetooth was the issue. IT HAS been amazing to have consistent sound from my soundbar. The optical cable itself is made of high-quality braided material. You don't have to worry about the internal wires breaking through normal wear. It comes with a protective plastic cover over the endpoints, so make sure that you remove it before trying to connect. The sound is crisp and there's no lag, the speed keeps the audio paced with 4K video. The connection isn't loose the fit is snug and doesn't wiggle around. I would definitely buy again and might buy one for each of my soundbars to maintain a stable fast connection to each of my televisions.
