Gear 2-Inch Shoulder Pad

Great quality as always.

I've ordered 3 of these. 2 for EDC and 1 for my CPAP case. My previous EDC pad is still going strong after 5 years but could probably use a bath. It's been to about 20 countries through many airports and cruise terminals: manhandled, passed through scanners, stuffed under seats, stepped on, etc. The only reason I'm replacing it is I needed a different color for a new bag. Highly recommended accessory. My only suggestions are to place the closed portion of the velcro straps toward your neck because the open ends are scratchy, and there's a single overlap seam running horizontally across the edge that may need to be smoothed down with a fine emory board or similar, in the even that the stiff fabric creates a minor hot spot. It's a quick fix.

I used it to pad an expensive two-point sling used for a moderately heavy rifle (about 10 lbs.) so I could comfortably carry without a jacket or thick shirt, and it works very well. The Velcro is of good quality for securing the straps and the padding is effective without being too thick. The width allowed me to slip the bungie part of the sling through it without difficulty. Stitching looks OK too. It's not combat quality, but also not priced like it. It's great for the price point and intended use, so I give it a 5. If you need this sort of pad for a shoulder strap or something like that, it would work well.

It's nice and works good. It is just a shame that this does not already come on the bag, instead it has a slick cheap feeling plastic pad that is useless. IMO this is a must have if you use the shoulder strap.

These are great for the slings on my bolt guns

I got this and compared it to other options for a sling bag. This one was the worst as it barely has any padding and uncomfortably large molle straps on the top. The pad should be a little wider to compensate so your not rubbing on the ruff edges of the straps.

A great product. The velcro straps are very secure, which was one of the things I was concerned about before buying this product, that they would get loose with use, but so far that hasn't been an issue. The padding is soft and comfortable. I use them with a large size Rothco Musette Bag which has plain shoulder straps without padding, these pads make it more comfortable when it's filled with a lot of things and heavy. The Olive Drab color of these straps is slightly different than the Olive Drab color of the bag, but this is barely noticeable and in my opinion they still match well with the bag in terms of color. All in all, I'm very satisfied with this product.

True "foliage" cordura color is a gray-ever-so-slightly-green, not pure green, or even light olive/sage. My review photo is color balanced to show true color. Great quality and a perfect match to my Marsupial Great bino pack, which has sort of wimpy shoulder straps, but great in every other way. The manufacturer's product photos do make it look much greener than it is. However, if you have other equipment that is Foliage grey color, this will be a perfect match! Very well made item. Made my messenger bag much more comfortable. Fits well and securely.

Works as expected, the cushioning is decent. It attaches to the strap through a velcro.

Produit d'excellente qualité. Je l'ai adapté sur des bretelles de Camelbak 3l sans soucis grâce aux trois bandes velcro. Par contre attention, c'est vendu à l'unité, non à la paire. Donc, pensez à en acheter deux si c'est pour renforcer vos bretelles de sac à dos.

Prodotto di ottima fattura con materiali resistenti. Di facile inserimento in quanto completamente apribile con velcro e ottima tenuta quando chiuso. Estremamente confortevole anche con carichi pesanti.

Maxpedition,excelente calidad,pero no traía la etiqueta interior que he puesto en la foto que no es la mía , traía una pequeña etiqueta cosida blanca parecida a la de las camisetas baratas, el logo del velcro si es el común,pero me extrañó que no trajera el logotipo interior del acolchado (lo comparé con otros de maxpeditio)
