This was a new product for me and I love ❤ it! It leaves my hair super conditioned and super moisturized. Since using this product, I have cut my deep conditioning time down from two hours to just 30 minutes. It takes care of the "frizzies " and split ends as well, since my hair is never dry but moist and well conditioned. I am African american with 4c/4b hair type. This product is very affordable and does what it says. The lanolin that is compounded with petrolatum also a natural product, as it comes from the earth is truly none sticky or gummy. It's very soft which is a natural characteristic of lanolin and will leave your hair extremely soft. Lanolin is derived from boiling sheep wool and floats to the top of the boil and is scooped off. This is called "dross" or lanolin which helps maintains the softness and "fluffyiness " of sheep wool. Lanolin is not a fat but an ester of fatty acids and adheres very well to water, a plus for achieving maximum hydration for your hair. I don't know how good it is for your hair but it makes a great conditioner for breaking in and maintaining baseball gloves. Spread it on in a thin layer then run over it with a hair dryer on hot and the stuff sinks into the leather making it instantly softer and more pliable. Better and way less expensive than dedicated baseball glove conditioning creams and oils

I have been using the lanolin hair product since I was a child. It still makes my hair soft and manageable. I like the natural ingredients in it , and it keeps my hair moisturized. It still has the original nice smelling scent to it. I will definitely be purchasing again in the future.

Smells great and conditions beautifully. You only need a little. I use it on the ends only. I have even applied it before washing.

I have had my Afro for many many years. This product my locks truly adore. I love all the Dax Products. My mother used to use it for my hair years ago. I am 65 and I continue to use the product.

I have been using DAX since I was 16 years old(I am now 52)I loved it then. It was the only hair product that would make my long, thick hair hold its curl and make it soft. I have noticed that the formula and consistency has changed. I'm not happy. Why mess with a good thing? Reta from Buffalo
