Tarot to Go! (Mini Book and Card Set)

This is the deck I've been waiting my entire life for. It's small but not too small. Super easily bendable cardstock that doesn't hurt my arthritis and trigger thumb. I love these! The art is beautiful! I feel very connected to these cards already. Only complain is the box the cards come in. Wish it didn't have that open face and overall cheapness. I tore the flap upon first opening them. Will definitely have to find a box to store them in. But hey for the price I can't complain too much. Thinking about buying the other kit too and giving it to my mom. Very exciting stuff for me! And yes US Games authorized these decks. Its not a knock off. Its legit. Has the copyright on it and all. Ps backs of cards are GORGEOUS! I like the little book a lot too!

I really like and love this deck. I know someone who has this deck and has allowed me to read with them. I also know other readers who uses this very same deck and highly recommends this. One thing I can say about this deck is it is very accurate and easy to read with. Art work is beautiful and vibrant too.

As I posted in my review for the full-size deck (Amazon ASIN 0880790792), this is the closest I've ever come to that one deck that speaks to me. Even though that version of the deck is smaller than most traditional tarot decks, I'm beyond thrilled to have this. I have arthritis, and this version will work a little better for (re-)learning tarot (see my other review). There is a larger version gift set, that includes the same hardcover book (Amazon ASIN 0880882484). I chose the slightly more expensive version because I don't need another (larger?) copy of this book. It's a nice, but basic primer for learning tarot. The other item also allowed me to get a copy of the official "little white book" (LWB) for the deck. Although, I did spring for a Kindle copy of this book for a whopping 99¢ (Amazon ASIN B005WJ64MC)--just in case I want to refer to it. I'm so happy that I stumbled across this little beauty here at Amazon. I may actually follow through with reacquainting myself with tarot--now that I have this deck back--and in an even better size (see other review)! I'm looking forward to studying tarot with this, in conjunction with other Rider-Waite-based books that I own (again, see other review). Edit: I'm editing this review to add a comparison picture showing a standard US Games Rider-Waite deck (ISBN 091386613X), this deck, the larger version of this deck (Amazon ASIN 0880790792) , the Radiant Rider-Waite deck (that comes in a lovely tin, ISBN 1572818034 ), plus The Tiny Tarot (ISBN 1572811226). Sometimes seeing helps make purchases easier.

So I know people have complained about the poor quality of card stock of this deck. Me, I love it. I have tiny hands and these cards are a perfect size. The thickness (or lack of it as some have decided) of the cards make these a dream to shuffle. Yes, they probably won’t hold up as well as thicker decks. But honestly, I have never yet had to replace a deck due to cards becoming so worn they were no longer usable. In fact, that would be a plus for me because I would use them for other artistic projects. Besides, the price can’t be beat. I might have to get a new deck sooner than later but that is not much of a problem with this economical little deck. I have gone on and on about cardstock without discussing the artwork on the cards and the little book that is included. Let me remedy that. The art is FANTASTIC! It follows Rider Waite Smith. A bit of a closer up view than Pixie’s deck. Also, for me, there is a lot more to read in the facial features of the characters in the cards. It is a classic deck and the little book that comes along with this cute little mini deck is great!! So much better than most LWBs.

A little back story I have the original full size deck it’s about the size of a deck of playing cards and I received it 20yrs ago. That deck is still in good condition but I saw this little set and got the feels all over again. For the $5 it’s listed at I just picked them up. I started following The_Enchanted_Web on Instagram and was inspired to get back into reading tarot myself and originally looked for just a small pocket sized tarot meaning book to flip through and found this set. How perfect is it that it’s from one of my very first decks! I love that the book has the card images and the basic meanings are not too small so I can read them without straining! The only reason this gets 4 stars is because the box they come in feels like better card stock than the cards do. I like the size of the cards and the illustrations still do it for me. I’m just now getting back to reading tarot cards so this is a great set for me especially with my personal history and attachment to the full size deck. I also like that this is a bit bigger than the mini deck of RWS cards I have.

This little deck was reasonably priced for what I needed. Added these to a journal page for each card. Thin enough that adding 78 cards to the journal didn’t bow it out our crack the spine but they are thick enough that glue didn’t make them warp or show through. Great on the go learning deck. Book with the deck is short and sweet and fits all in the box. Colors are bright and the pictures are not blurry or pixilated even though the cards are smaller. Would buy again if I needed to.

I bought from the seller "Cloudtail India Private Limited". I was surprised when i received my order days earlier. I mean not just a couple of days early but around 4-5 days earlier. I was so soo happy. So the seller is definitely recommend. It's very important to check the seller rating while ordering the product. I've been disappointed before by some other seller. I learned my lesson from those experiences. But this seller made me happy. Kudos amazon. Now about the product : The cards are lovely. There's a beautiful, vulnerable, warm enery, expressive... If you feel called to buy this deck. Don't think twice because they're worth it. Beautifully designed. I especially wamted these because of the imagery. And I'm not disappointed. These are based on the Rider Waite. I love the back as well. Comfortable to carry in purse or jeans/trouser pocket. Some people here complained about the card stock being flimsy. Honestly, i didn't give a damn because i loved the imagery n i just knew this deck is calling me. And to my surprise, when i received my deck i found that the card stock is pretty good actually. Now, it could be that the people who complained might have got the deck whose card stock might be flimsy or not as per their expectation. But mine is pretty decent. Not at all flimsy. In fact i was very surprised by the quality of the cards. It's awesome. Perfect. That too at this price. It's unbelievable. I'm happy and fully satisfied with what I got. The book is also colorful and lovely. Beginners would like to have in depth knowledge but there's always the internet n books for that. And actually, the whole point of tarot and occult is following and trusting your intuition. I'm definitely recommending this deck. A must have in the collection for sure. I've attached some pictures. This mini Hanson-Roberts cards. The size is smaller than it mention at description. The lenght is 7.5 so incompare to tarrot decks at Tin is 2 Cm smaller. For trio is usefull. The only issue is quality of cards itself. They can bend easily. I put pics which are showing comparsion between Normal Hanson Roberts deck.Also comparison between radiant deck as mini tarrot itself and this one.

Esta ha sido una excelente compra! Mi tarot de siempre en tamaño miniatura, para llevar contigo a donde vayas, viene con su libro (todo en inglés) también pequeño, hermoso como obsequio, divino para ti mismo, el libro es de tapa dura, la mejor calidad, es básico, simple y te enseña dos lecturas muy conocidas, pero que en caso de ser principiante te serán muy útiles. Realmente divino! Quiero volver a comprarlo para regalar!

Omg this is so cute. It gives only a brief explanation. However it does give you a good few ideas but there's several ways of doing them. I now look them up on the Internet. It will take me a while as each person has their own interpretation which in life if it says you need a rest you think of something you do reg that tires you. So I did do that and it gave me a good warning to in the love department. Well worth the money for a beginner like me. If you've watched penny dreadful. I love tv merch and all things supernatural. Even the show is my fav. So I have the penny dreadful deck now. I have not opened it as just got it from Xmas but I would love to compare and still use the little book as a guideline as well as the Internet.
