I bought this 3 years ago and have kept 4 toothbrushes in it with room for 1 more if I needed to squeeze one in. The light is still working and I haven't had any mold grow inside. I got this because there is mold growing in the ceiling tiles and landlord won't do anything to remediate. I'm very satisfied with how well this works and protects our toothbrushes. I'm buying a 2nd one so I can have one for our razors. I think this style is much more protective than the others that keep the toothbrush handles exposed to the air.

I have 2 regular toothbrushes, 1 electric toothbrush head, and a razor in mine. It went up in no time and is very sturdy. I don't travel so I can't speak as to how well it travels, but I can't see any reason it wouldn't travel well. It has a fairly small footprint and is relatively flat so it should pack easily. I have mine mounted to the wall between the 2 sinks in my master bathroom. Very handy! Overall it is very much worth it! I would recommend it to anyone! Pros: It is easy to mount, Easy to use, easy to clean. Cons: The shape of my razor handle doesn't allow the razor head to set in line with the UV light. I had to do some adjusting and balancing to get it in there.

I bought this sanitizer to replace an old one (different brand) which stopped working after several years. While this is a decent toothbrush sanitizer, there are a couple small drawbacks. I would have purchased my original unit again, but it's no longer available. The minor drawbacks: 1. The mounting bracket and double-sided tape are not enough to hold the unit up by themselves. It comes with a small tube of silicone adhesive, but I didn't want to put that on my bathroom mirror so I went and purchased an alternative heavy duty mounting tape. 2. The door will not fully close on its own. There are two small protrusions from the door which must seat properly for the door to fully close and the unit to activate. I find that every time I close the door I have to give it a little nudge to close fully. A minor issue, but I feel like something different could have been done to make the door close fully without that extra nudge. 3. We use GUM brand tongue scrapers. While they fit in the unit, it's definitely a tight fit.

I haven't put this on my wall, although it comes with a wall mount (and adhesive, a toothpaste holder and the charger). I got it for my electric toothbrush, which is too tall (by about a quarter inch) to fit in this device, but I CAN detach the toothbrush head (the only part I needed to sterilize anyway) and pop it in this machine with no problem. When it's plugged in, you open it, put the toothbrush(es)/heads in it facing the UV light bulb and close the door. When you close the door, the UV light comes on for 5-8 minutes to sterilize it's contents and the bulb turns off when done so you know when they're done being cleaned and can be removed, eliminating any guess work. This doesn't take long to clean so it doesn't use much energy (it can use batteries or the power cord that comes with it). Before using this, my mouth had a worse "morning mouth" taste/breath when I woke up (I brush my teeth before bed). Since cleaning my brush head with this device, this problem is only half as bad, which I believe means fewer germs/bacteria on my brush get transferred to my mouth during brushing so as they multiply overnight, there are fewer of them in the morning to leave a bad taste/smell. This may sound gross, but it's the only difference I've noticed that might be able to show it's effectiveness.

I sometimes get big waterbugs in my house from time to time (not alot just occasionally) depending on the season and the weather.. I was horrified to walk into the bathroom one night and find one on my toothbrush! I threw the tb away and immediately (that day!) got a covered toothbrush holder. I found a UV sanitizer at the drugstore one day and got it. I used it for many years but it had a screw on bottom that got moldy if you put your toothbrush away wet which I tried not to do but it happens. So I got tired of worrying about and cleaning mold. Enter this one. I just got it and it went up on the wall very easily. The tape and the silicone that is provided hold the mountable holder piece on the wall arrow side up. I washed the wall with soap and removed all the soap very well, let dry, wiped with alcohol, let dry, and then applied the holder. I let the mounted holder dry overnight and then hung the unit. I like this because you can clean the bottom without having to disassemble it and it has no nooks and crannies that get moldy. It's easy to keep clean. I also like it because it holds my toothbrushes in an enclosed container and it sanitizes with UV. I have been looking for one like this for a while. I am very please with it.

I love the product when it works. I had 5 toothbrushes in it but the door wouldn't shut all the way. I took 2 out and it was able to close and worked properly. The upper right corner needs to be clicked tight in order for the UV rays to turn on and depending on the sizes of the toothbrushes, it may or may not close with 5. It is easy to clean and sturdy once mounted.
