Waistline is larger than advertised...
Pants are tight fitting so the pads will make the fit even snugger. Historically, I had ordered a previous set and the waist size was a bit larger than expected due to the stretch material (I wear size 32 and ordered a 32 but it fit like a 34). This order, I purchased the size 30 and though the waist fits better, the pants are super snug and the padding make the fit a bit uncomfortable. Fit and finish is of quality you'd expect for a less than $100 pair of pants. There are vented fabric in the areas you'd need riding on a hot day however the denim material is a bit thin and probably rip in an unforeseen tumble. Overall, nice looking pair of motorcycle pants with soft rubber padding. One drawback is that the knee sleeves don't have any mechanism (Velcro or snaps) to seal the rubber padding in place and tend to flap in the wind at highway speeds. Albeit all the negative points, I'm going to keep these to see if I can stretch them on my next ride...otherwise, look for the rider wearing padded yoga riding pants.

Nice fit, decent quality
I wear jeans in sizes 38" to 40", depending on the jeans. I bought these in size 38 and they fit comfortably. These pants have a bit of flex to them, so this really helps the comfort factor. I can even wear some base layers underneath these on cold days without making them feel too tight. My only reason for giving these jeans a 4-star review instead of a 5-star is the position of the hip and knee pads. The pockets that hold these pads are simply too long. The knee pads end up at the top of my shins and the hip pads aren't protecting my hip bones, instead, they're at the top of my thigh, just under my hip bone. I'll have to get out my sewing kit to sew the pockets so the pads rider higher. I suppose too deep of pockets is better than too shallow, as I can make this adjustment.

Pretty good pair of jeans
I ordered from this seller the first time and the jeans were way too big, so finally I got the right size. I havenโt ridden with them yet but just walking around feels nice. It took me a while to find where the thigh padding goes, but I eventually found the Velcro pocket next to the main pockets. It does require me to wear a belt since itโll keep sliding down without a belt but Iโm sure the belt will be more protection in case of an accident. (I tried a smaller size pair and it was too small, but the size I got fits but only with a belt)

Not my style !
31 is a perfect size for me but a 30 in these pants might have been better ! Iโm 6โ2โ and 165lbs! They fit terrible on me : too big . Didnโt like the style nor the material !

Age old maxim "You get what you pay for" is true with these pants
When it comes to getting things cheap from a Chinese manufacturer, there is always a gamble with the quality of the product. The pair of pants I received seem to be just fine in terms of stitching and evenness, but I have to warn anyone who thinks they are going to get a great pair of protective pants at a bargain price. These jeans are denim, but it is a very thin layer which will get eaten almost immediately during a skid. There is also a mesh section on the front of each leg above the knee, which is great for keeping you cool but even worse than the thin denim in terms of protection. Because of the mesh sections, rain water will drench your legs very quickly, so these pants are very far from weather proof. The protective inserts are foam/sponge, which are better than nothing. There are no instructions for how/where to insert the protective padding, but it's not difficult to figure it our through trial and error. As far as sizing goes, don't listen to what everyone says about "ordering 2 sizes up" just because it's Chinese. Read the sizing chart in the description and go with that. These pants are a slim/straight fit and will be slightly tight. I wear a 30 to 32 waist and intentionally went with a size higher (30 M) so that the pants wouldn't be so tight on the legs. The length is slightly longer than what people normally expect in US sizes. I would call the 30 M size a 34 length, making it a size 32/34 (waist/length). If they are too long, just fold up the bottom. I did and it fits/looks just fine over my boots. All-in-all, these pants are probably worth the price. I would only count on these for protection if you are riding locally in urban or suburban areas and at the speed limit. If you're riding long distances on the highway at high speeds, these pants are not for you. If you are doing high speeds on a street bike in traffic, these pants are not for you. Save your money until you can get a $600 pair of pants that will actually save you from being killed or having to get amputated. However, if you are a beginner rider and are going to be riding safe and want some starter safety gear, then these pants are for you. Just remember: You get what you pay for.

True to size
I purchased these as casual riding pants as oppose to wearing MX or Off Road gear. Something that I could step off my BMW and walk in and have dinner. These are perfect. I wear a size 34 and these fit perfectly. If you're looking for something you can slide across the pavement and not get a scratch these are NOT for you. They are thin with some extra fabric in the knees. I really enjoy these. I bought 2 pairs.

Good for the price
I wanted some pants as a alternate to my leather pants during the hottest parts of my 3 week cross country trip. These worked fine and are a little big in the waist. But since I wear a belt, they fit well and look good too.

definitely size down
I read a lot of other reviews that seem pretty mixed. at the end of the day, it's another piece of protective gear. people were complaining about the placement of the knee pads, but I found that when I dropped to my knees to test them out, they ended up being in the perfect spot. the absolute one thing that is constant is people saying these run big and they are absolutely right. size down by one. i wear 34" waist usually and these are probably about a 36-38... without a belt I can take them off without having to open them. besides that, they look and feel great so I'm not mad about it

Nice, though loose, for. Look good
Got these for horse back riding. These have a nice, more contemporary style than traditional riding pants. Fit is good, but I'd say they are sized a bit big. I typically wear 36-38 waist and these were XXL which they describe as a 36 but they fit more like a 38. The material is solid but light, these are not heavy duty, with a nice stretchiness to them so they should be comfortable sitting, riding, etc. Overall pretty happy with the purchase.
